Odin pre-fights really help his incinerate damage though as they correlate to buffs that aren't Fury or Energize and making him a Herald of Galan allows him to keep Frenzy active permanently as long as he is below 41% health. His sig ability helps a lot as it adds an additional buff which can speed up your ramp and add more damage as well. His SP1 does crazy damage whenever the opponent has a lot of debuffs on them and his SP2 is crazy regardless. The Kindred synergy gives you an extra Energize when using a heavy which is great for power control and ramping him up faster. That's about it though. No synergies are really necessary in my experience.

@@nom.nom789 He's pretty heavily underrated by most people other than MSD. Plus, a lot of people think he needs his sig ability which isn't true although it helps him a lot. I personally think Sam Wilson was the worst choice there. I think the main deciding factor for most people is Battlegrounds as Red Goblin does okay there, but his strong suit is Incursions. I've won quite a bit of rounds with him though. Ebony Maw is seen as a solid defender and Emma's immunities are heavily valued by most. I think it also doesn't help that Cosmic is stacked, so people would much rather invest in another Cosmic instead.
No, the rotation is not different from short and long fights. In my experience, though everything is a short fight to him because of the armor breaks and massive incinerates😂. His symbiote buffs activate based on last attack used so use light attack before sp1 for energize then rush to sp3 parry into a heavy before throwing sp3 to get aptitude if necessary light attack sp1 incase energize fell off then medium before sp2 for fury(most of the time this ends the fight)
