You pulled out all the stops here, parries, Tiger Drops, lots of varied Heat Actions... probably some of the best Yakuza 2 Amon beatdowns on RUclips right there! That Jiro finish was beautiful, and when Jo denied it for you, you just turned it into another badass opportunity, amazing.
RGG already has Kiwami 2 They think there would be no reason to come back to PS2 1 and 2 cause the Kiwami remakes exist I would kill for RGG to bring 1 + 2 HD to modern consoles just to experience the 2 classics
@@youn00ber i'd say its also an accessibility issue. Not everyone has good pcs for emulating ps2 games and in some locations yakuza games are even hard to get. For example, i am in Portugal. The only widely available game is like a dragon, 0, kiwami and so on must be ordered by gamestop, which isnt from here Although i'd enjoy to kick back some 'retro' ryu ga gotoku, especially 1 because haha curse is funny, i cannot at the moment, many do share this fate.
From watching this, I noticed something interesting: with the exception of Jo, none of the Amon Clan look anywhere near the same as they look in later games or the remake. Hell, Sango doesn't even have his hat. I also noticed Jo's fight seems to take place in a different location than the remake. In the remake, he's fought inside the Millennium Tower, but here he's fought on, if I'm seeing it right, either the roof of the Millennium Tower or a shipping platform.
Holy moly, those health bars got drained so quickly. I'm watching this after finishing Kiwami, and seeing the Kazuya and Jiro defeated so quickly is a surpirse.
They actually only added the double finisher for the uppercut, the hammerfist on the way back down, in this game. The rest all came with Yakuza 3, to my knowledge. That and I don't remember the finishing holds doing all that much damage to single enemies, they're more useful for crowd control

i dig the ryu ga gotoku amons they actually feel like assassins. The one we have now is great n all but they felt like hitmen than them self proclaiming as assassins
Yeah, I'd definitely say the window is on the larger side, the only issue with tiger dropping it is actually related to the placement of the tiger drop; for example, if you're slightly away from the kick, the tiger drop will activate but not deal damage.

Yeah a staple combo of Y2 no damages is the Hercules Gloves (increases time you can hold enemies) and Immovable Belt (allows you to grab anyone), makes grabs much more reliable and useful, I believe you are thinking of the immovable belt but together both items are best

@@AdiJ4 Thanks, we were already using that guide. Unfortunately it has no information on him and it took us about six hours to find him. SIX HOURS. Nobody knows the requirements, apparently. All I can say is for my part, I made sure I had at least five wins on every tournament, and when that didn't do it, I made sure I had ten wins on the Mercenary one. Could be a coincidence but he turned up in Special immediately after that tenth win.

@@AdiJ4 For him I think the other guide (by ThePatrick) was correct, in that it seems a lot of these 'rare' ones turn up once you face Majima, who requires you to do as much of the Amon requirements as possible up to that point. Once I did, there's Majima, and then came everybody else flooding in. EXCEPT Mr Yoh, who took several more hours, because there's obviously some requirement that nobody ever 100% confirmed. Feel like 10+ Mercenary wins, and maybe 5+ on everything else as well, but who knows. Anyway, we just got Yamaoka, so it's off to the Amons later. Should be fun.

Thanks, and yes, for some reason, I think the first 3 Amon brothers count as normal enemies instead of bosses, so Fist Reversal does work on them.

Yep, but it's not like a tiger drop to the air, when Amon gets up he does Majima's get up kick (which can of course be tiger dropped).
