- Here are the results of my research on 96 charts - examining houses occupied by lords and planets in people involved in notably good and bad relationships.

In München, Germany, a research was done on 2500 couples' horoscopes. I'll have to look it up again but I remember the aspect that popped up the most in divorced couples was a Mars Moon opposition.

I can believe this. Individuals with this placement or with it conjunct tend to like to argue a good bit more, also, in my experience (not argue so much as her emotionally flustered/blow up sometimes easier)

@@ahimsaalexander9004 My ex has this opposition + to Mars there is Venus and Sun in the 3rd in Leo. Arguments were nonstop (my Moon is in Leo also 3rd house😅)... in addition to that a lot of inconsistency and indecisiveness from his side - so I gave up, couldn't handle that.

This is wonderful. I haven't come across any video in astrology where data is shared with the public to see. This is truly scientific and assuring. This is true research. I wish you could publish this study so that others can build on it.

This is a very interesting analysis and I personally do correlate with the spikes for good and bad combinations, it's pretty much true.
Awesome. I am a data nerd and fascinated about how to parse out astrological analysis in a quantifiable and qualified manner.
All that being said I was surprised to find the 12th Lord in the 7th house being a good placement. But my 12th house is Leo and so this is my Sun. In my experience it has not been supportive but I am sure there are other reasons for that, potentially being my 7th house is Pisces and I also have Venus RX and Mercury RX there as well as the switched Rahu in the 8th/ Ketu in the 2nd North and South node axis. Being that Ketu detaches one from family I suppose this largely impacts my personal experiences connecting meaningfully with other humans.

6L in 5H - making partying an everyday activity -> may make exclusive relationships boring and give more motivation for flirting and cheating/leaving a relationship to pursue others.

so i have 6th lord in 8th, 10th lord in 12th, and 7th and 12th lord in 10th, also rahu in scorpio lagna. fun fact: i used to work as an actress (after studying theatre at the academy for four years mind you) and quit after a few years because i was only getting roles as either prostitutes or promiscuous girls with very little clothes on. i know it's off topic, but you can't make these things up. i also have uttara phalguni sun and purva bhadra moon (for those who have watched some claire nakti), at least there's always a career for me in the adult sector if i get desperate :D :D :D LOL!

Nobody talks much about Rahu and Ketu significance in relationships.

I have Aries Ascendant with Jupiter (9 & 12 Lord) in Scorpio in 7H. Also Venus (2 & 7 Lord) in Scorpio in 7/8 H (conjunct 8H cusp). I’ve always been very partnership oriented and enjoy building good quality relationships (all types-friendships, professional acquaintances, romantic, etc.).
The emphasis on sexual satisfaction in intimate relationships is very real. I literally CANNOT sustain an intimate relationship with a man without genuine sexual attraction and emotional chemistry.
Recurring “drawbacks” to this. IME, carrying “good relationship energies” attracts people seeking good relationships, INCLUDING low vibrational types seeking to exploit natives for their own benefit. Also highly attractive to people LACKING good relationship skills. As Vic said, two people participate in building and sustaining relationships and if one can’ t or won’t do his part...
It can also bring a lot of “haters” who envy or resent the native’s relationship skills. I’ve definitely experienced coworkers, “friends,” and even family members sabotage (or attempt sabotage) to various relationships in my life. Envy is real and shockingly poisonous motivation.

Vic, awesome work with the statistical analysis. Could you please explain why the 7th lord in the 5th house was considered negative? Seems counterintuitive given the nature of the houses regarding relationships. What about 12th house in the 5th house? Is it similar to 12th lord in the 7th house?
1:40- I just said that to someone in another video of urs in comment section. She seemed a bit stressed. Even I check the compatibility, because I believe and it's ok if some people don't, but I believe, in certain things I wouldn't take a bad chance and sometimes ur chart is fine and other person's is not, it doesn't bring good results. What we feel with someone in a relationship initially, is many times revealed in a well calculated chart.
As a woman, it is important, due to some personal aspects.

I knew it! I have it REVERSED Ketu in the 2nd Rahu in the 8th. So basically The Dragons Ass, Ketu needs to be in the Eight House, House of Naughty Sex. Makes perfect sense to me. ;)

I have two of the placements for positive relationships (from the asc) and one of the negative placements (from the moon)!
Positives: Venus in the 11th (also happens to be my 7th Lord) & Ketu 8H
Negative: 6L in 5H
Personally, I’m not much of a relationship type but it’s true that I find them very important, interesting and relevant. I tend to have positive relationships but mostly on a surface level (... Vishaka Nakshatra rising/6L in 5H from Moon? 😂). I’m utterly surprised by Ketu 8H being a positive indication! But I can understand it... I love contemplating what thoughts people are keeping to themselves, or finding out what a person’s true intentions are. Receptivity like this is surely good for a relationship lol

I'm glad I didn't have any of the bad indicators. I only had one good one. Rahu in the 2nd / ketu in 8th. I have pretty good relationships in all areas now, but that was after a LOT of healing. My first marriage was very abusive.

, Rahu Ketu 2-8 axis(in gem-sag) in natal and even navmansha with other dispositors, Lord of third in 11th-venus(navmansh) but have had no luck in relationships. Very surprised why my chart isn't giving good result.
its been so informative about synastry . You were saying Venus in trines tend to have same kinda taste and relationship. I wonder a guy had Mars+Venus in Sagittarius(4th house) , Ketu in Aries. a girl had Saturn + Venus in Aries. Do you say that she is a girlfriend from past ? or it could be temporary? I dont expect you to but would be extremely grateful if you answer my burning question. Lets say I have moon in cancer, and my partner has moon in Capricorn. My moon is great dignity and hers is very bad. We are supposedly compatible in this area but there seems to be a disharmony in the fact that in my thinking moon in capricorn is bad while moon in cancer is good. Therefore in this way I am healthy and she is not (for lack of a better phrase)- how is that compatible? Would love anyone thoughts on this

Question, Vic- what’s the Vedic take on house polarities? What prompts this question specifically is that per the Hellenistic tradition the third house is the “house of the goddess” (as you probably know) i.e. extremely feminine, but that’s sort of substantiated by its opposite the 9th house of god being what it is.
I’ve not seen you refer to the 9th house in any of your videos in a way that significantly deviates from the western conceptualization of it, and yet I’m having a difficult time understanding how what you’re saying about the third house here can be reconciled with its polarity being what it is (which I should also note isn’t ever used in any sexual context in either tradition that I am aware of).
I haven't studied this. My supposition is that something either in how they were thinking of houses, or something in how we have translated the way they counted or something else, is off. But i have not studied enough to say what it is. Hellenistic is not my specialty.

Venus in the 1st is not that bad at all (I'm saying this based on my ex's experience), it just makes the person a little bit "selfishier" than what would be the ideal in what comes to relationships; once you know you got this on your chart it turns to be a lot more easier to change it in order to get better results in the future. Also, Venus in the 1st house usually gives a very beautiful appearance to the native, which is certainly one of the best parts of that aspect. =)
