Great short video, but it would have been helpful if the title specified that this video is a tutorial for iPhone users only. This method does not work for most Android users. The camera does not come with the correct connecting cable for any Micro USB equipped Android phone. This is a widely known issue, and you could help the community by mentioning it.

OK, but no one can explain to me what "activation" means. I want to test out this camera and send it to someone else for them to use (part of my job). Will activation tie the camera to my phone? Or can anyone else still "activate" it?

First of all, their reply on email takes 4-6 days on every comments, second, I'm not sure if it's legal to deny activating a product any reason, we as costumer has no chance knowing where the product comes from and witch country or region it belongs to. 🤷 really don't get it, when they choose to punish the costumer and not the dealer, I believe the costumer is who make their living. 🤷😡
So... Be careful where you buy these cameras, if you buy from an unauthorised vendor (how we the customers are meant to know this I don't know) you will not be able to activate your camera and insta 360 will put that on you, no support. Your camera is an expensive paper weight if the vendor you bought from is unwilling to refund.
Hi Hannah, I've been having problems with the GO app recently sat for an hour or so doing edits of a family day out and just before I went to export the app crashed and all the edits were gone this happened several times and is super frustrating, I use a Huawei P30 Pro any ideas for a fix, thanks 😊
I had a problem activating my One X2 on Android, no pop-up, but I had an iPad I could use to download the app to and activate it with. What a shitty way to stop a person from enjoying your product. WHY DO YOU NEED TO ACTIVATE A CAMERA??

Same problem here, I contacted customer service more than a week ago and still haven't got any solution, very bad service in my opinion. 😒
