There are contenders tho, there's an ichthyosaur that probably rivaled it weight wise and one plesiousaur that, by it's estimated size range. may have ended being longer if it lived long enough, but the blue whale is defnietly the most voluminous animal we have evidence of.

It’s supposed to catch whales and considering whales go near the surface when breaching it should have a body appropriate for attacking from below which means it must have speed and most definitely had the same color as GW shark so technically it should’ve looked like the great white when it first came on the scene. However as the whales started to die out around the last ice age (15,000 years ago) I’d assume they’d actually would’ve A- gotten thinner from a less substantial diet before going extinct or B- got smaller and fatter to deal with cold and migrate with whales so the less weight it needed to carry would’ve helped it. That being said a rendition of the Megaladon is probably out there though smaller it might be feeding on attic whales
I love the way blue whale just moves gently and won't pause for a moment like others because we don't need an explanation, it would be the greatest ever.

Was the "Giant Orthocone" in the video suppose to represent the genus Cameroceras (a genus of large orthoconic nautiloid cephalopods from the Ordovician period), who's maximum length was (somewhat dubiously) estimated to have been around 11 meters (~36 feet)? Furthermore, was the "Giant Mosasaur" from the video suppose to represent the species Mosasaurus hoffmannii (a species of large mosasaurids from the Late Cretaceous period) since the maximum length for M. hoffmannii was estimated to have reached a staggering 18 meters (~59 feet) based on research conducted by Everhart et. al. in 2016?

Great video! I was a little disappointed that the longest animals, like Praya Dubia (130 feet), bootlace worms (180 feet), and spiral siphonophores (possibly up to 390 feet) were not included, but I understand that they aren't exactly the most exciting animals for a video like this.
Is this to scale? IIRC a human's average height is 1.6 - 1.7m. Some of the creatures earlier reach into 7m yet seemed too tiny in comparison to the diver.
I agree, if you were to stack (horizontally) 3 divers it would only be about 18 feet yet some of these creatures are supposed to be 40 feet and could not accommodate 7 to 8 diver lengths.

@@Trigger__Happy the lost river is so pretty tho. I love to speculate about the Gargantuan Leviathan
I knew I recognized that sound from somewhere
gotta love that accurate depiction of megalodon not being an oversized white shark, but rather a blunt-nosed, big tail finned bulky shark.
The Blue Whale actually covers the whole screen 😂
It doesnt there's bigger stuff than it Like a Mosasaurus who can eat 2 of them at the same time
@@matthewrojas5776 No. Just no. You believe movies and games a bit too much, I'm guessing.
@@matthewrojas5776
Actually, researchers believe that blue whales might be the biggest creatures to have ever existed on earth
@@highadmiraljt5853 we still don't know we only covered most of the surface and a little the deep so there might be a bigger fish

Godzilla be like: "Am i a joke to you?"
He's in the video. Just lurking in the background from time to time.

Props to the diver for holding up stable status after going through all this.

I hope someday a submersible captures footage of a Sperm whale and giant 🦑 fighting in the dark chasms. 🤩🤩
I think we can all agree: This was crazily interesting! Thank you!

Was the "Giant Orthocone" in the video suppose to represent the genus Cameroceras (a genus of large orthoconic nautiloid cephalopods from the Ordovician period), who's maximum length was (somewhat dubiously) estimated to have been around 11 meters (~36 feet)?
Furthermore, was the "Giant Mosasaur" from the video suppose to represent the species Mosasaurus hoffmannii (a species of large mosasaurids from the Late Cretaceous period) since the maximum length for M. hoffmannii was estimated to have reached a staggering 18 meters (~59 feet) based on research conducted by Everhart et. al. in 2016?
For the first one yes so maybe for the second one

Great video! I was a little disappointed that the longest animals, like Praya Dubia (130 feet), bootlace worms (180 feet), and spiral siphonophores (possibly up to 390 feet) were not included, but I understand that they aren't exactly the most exciting animals for a video like this.
Bootlace worm, yes.. siphonophores are colonial organisms so they don’t really count
Some of them are not a single animal, they are colonial siphonophores, so, they kinda don't count.
This video is too awesome to be just cool. It's too good.❤❤❤
Megalodon is my favorite thanks for showing it!!!!!
Everyone gangsta until the divers status is unstable
when did he become unstable?
Would love to see largest land animal version of this. (Including the dinosaur and the other extinct mammal including the mammoth)
#1 biggest land animal: your mom
Is this to scale? IIRC a human's average height is 1.6 - 1.7m. Some of the creatures earlier reach into 7m yet seemed too tiny in comparison to the diver.
I agree, if you were to stack (horizontally) 3 divers it would only be about 18 feet yet some of these creatures are supposed to be 40 feet and could not accommodate 7 to 8 diver lengths.
Nicely done !!
