I have almost the same tiller, and yesterday my tines stopped turning while I was using it. The pulley that turns the tines won't move. The tines won't turn either. I assume something in the gear case.....any ideas what could have gone wrong? Engine still runs fine.
great video, do you think we have similar carburetor ? I have the 5hp tiller and as I was watching the video MTD King tiller, 2 of 3, we have the same air filter thing right on top and looks like we have same carburetor too. I am not sure If 5hp and 3hp are same size. Luther

The chain might be stretched and has bound things up. Try turning the tines backwards to see if that frees things up. G.
