Thank you for sharing information. I am so scared and frustrated with my son's scalp folliculities that I have given up all my hopes. My son(21 years) has been suffering from scalp folliculities( yellow/white pus filled acnes) from almost 4 years. Several dermatologists, prescribed several antibiotics, ointments and so on. Pus culture and sensitivity test showed the infection of staphylococcus, bacteria. After certain period of the completion of antibiotics, again they appear. But during the continuation of antibiotics scalp remains totally clean and clear. But already ''Doxicycline" has come resistant. But last 1year, 8 months he was absolutely ok. Again from 1 month it has reappeared. Now I am just applying Fusigent ointment, and trying to maintain healthy diet, and cleanliness. Still these are not completely vanishing. But it's now possible as due to lockdown he is with me otherwise in his hostel life it's impossible to maintain this schedule. What to do, please answer.

Sir, i have scalp psoriasis. It's not severe. I use salicylic based shampoo and flaky skin occurs occasionally like every 2-3 months. I had acne on my scalp and experienced some hair loss as well-what helped me was finding a shampoo and conditioner that doesn’t have any sulfates in them, no silicon, etc. I no longer use any hair oils on my scalp or any excess styling creams-I also make sure to blow dry my hair after every wash to prevent any possible yeast infection on my scalp

When I first started I went to a dermatologist and got a prescription shampoo-then I switched to Neutrogenas T-Gel shampoo-I’m now using doves newest line that’s sulfate free and for damaged hair-so far so good. It’s also good to incorporate vitamin e oil on spots where you’ve lost hair-at least in my experience
@@kaitlinmercedes8619 may i suggest using curd/yogurt instead of shampoo. Massage it on your scalp and wash after 30 minutes...it proved to be really affective for me and also it prevents the scalp from completely drying out like it does when we use shapmoo.

i experienced acute hairfall out of the blue....what worked for me was that I stopped using any shampoo all together. I started washing my hair with Dahi every alternate day. It proved to be an improvement. Also i would suggest using coconut oil instead of sarso or any other oil on your hairs.

Thank you for sharing information. I am so scared and frustrated with my son's scalp folliculities that I have given up all my hopes.
My son(21 years) has been suffering from scalp folliculities( yellow/white pus filled acnes) from almost 4 years. Several dermatologists, prescribed several antibiotics, ointments and so on. Pus culture and sensitivity test showed the infection of staphylococcus, bacteria.
After certain period of the completion of antibiotics, again they appear. But during the continuation of antibiotics scalp remains totally clean and clear.
But already ''Doxicycline" has come resistant.
But last 1year, 8 months he was absolutely ok. Again from 1 month it has reappeared.
Now I am just applying Fusigent ointment, and trying to maintain healthy diet, and cleanliness. Still these are not completely vanishing. But it's now possible as due to lockdown he is with me otherwise in his hostel life it's impossible to maintain this schedule.
What to do, please answer.

Use multani mitti on scalp, let it dry and then wash it off in bath. Repeat every other day until it clears up. It should clear up under 2 weeks. This is the only thing that helped me, hope it will help you too. If you have more question then look up clay mask for scalp/hair on youtube, you'll get some ideas.

I had acne on my scalp and experienced some hair loss as well-what helped me was finding a shampoo and conditioner that doesn’t have any sulfates in them, no silicon, etc. I no longer use any hair oils on my scalp or any excess styling creams-I also make sure to blow dry my hair after every wash to prevent any possible yeast infection on my scalp

Can you tell me which shampoo you used ?
When I first started I went to a dermatologist and got a prescription shampoo-then I switched to Neutrogenas T-Gel shampoo-I’m now using doves newest line that’s sulfate free and for damaged hair-so far so good. It’s also good to incorporate vitamin e oil on spots where you’ve lost hair-at least in my experience
@@kaitlinmercedes8619 may i suggest using curd/yogurt instead of shampoo. Massage it on your scalp and wash after 30 minutes...it proved to be really affective for me and also it prevents the scalp from completely drying out like it does when we use shapmoo.

I have treated several times with several dermatologist. I keep fine 3-4 months everytime but after that certain period again the same fungal infection appears informs of red pimples. Is there any permanent solution?
