Another cool video Liz, fun travels and you seemed happier. Nothing like arriving new places to get a new buzz. I cant wait to get out on another trip. Have a good one.
A late spring or early autumn visit to Sweden and Finland on a borrowed V-Strom could be on next year's trip list . You just need to find someone to lend you a V-Strom🤗
You're so tough. Riding Swe -Fin ,Est in such cold weather. You should come back in the summer time .Much warmer. Whats up with pinky's navigator?😅 Drive safe!
Well, fortunately for you, there seems to be a whole suit of new smaller adventure bikes coming to the market presently, so there should be plenty to choose from..😎
@R1_Liz Yea, the lack of a 6th gear on the Suzuki is a disappointment though.. The BMW has great potential, but it will take a little time to see where it "lands" @.. Amongst the ones that entices me most right now, I'd actually put the new Himmy close to the top..🤔 Part of the reason is the modularity of it's design.. Another is it's focus on keeping it simple.. It's on the heavier side in it's standard "configuration", but it's apparently quite easy to reduce about 20 kg of it's dry weight without adding much cost, nor sacrificing capabilities, & still at a remarkably agreeable price..
In Estonia we consider the october and november the most awful depression-rich months in the whole year, like dark cold and wet cave - even in winter with its cold is far nicer. So you have chosen the right time. It would be interesting to visit all places and countries in the whole world in their most terrible seasons! And if I'm understanding rightly then that "wiggling road" you tried to avoid would been very different - with very beautiful views and asphalt-covered, not sandy or muddy.
Come back to Sweden, to Gotland, there you can ride small roads for a week without going to same road once. And there is a lot of nature and beaches to explore in the summer.
The ships to and from Finland all tend to be huge; lots of traffic and the tax free shopping pays for a lot. The cruise ships between Sweden and Finland also do back and forth trips and people go just to party and shop.
You should see the boats that run from Greece to Italy it had 6 or 8 lanes of lorries and unloading four lanes at a time took a good hour there were hundreds on five decks the size of a supertanker. What's wrong with solid fuel fires and they were closed Ihave liverd with an open fire all my life.
Adding Greece-Italy party boat to my bucket list. I’ve always had this weird anxiety surrounding fire in the house so it doesn’t occur to me that it’s a bit weird to be worried. When I was very young I used to genuinely fear the house will burn down in the night and I’ve never really grown out of it 😰
@@R1_Liz I booked with Grimaldi on-Line the day before I wanted to exit Greece. You have to go and check in inside the terminal on the day you go and then ride round to the dock. The massive RoRo Ship I ended up on was not a Grimaldi ferry and it's a bit like "find your own way if you can". Fortunatly there were other local bikers the ask.
@@R1_Liz I wouldn't trust some yahoo to do it for me either. I carry ratchets and a velcro strip that I wrap around the front brake lever to hold the front brake depressed to further lower the risk of the bike rolling.
@R1_Liz The period when you visited here is not suitable when we Finns are in a bad mood because we know that soon it will be dark around the clock and everything will be gray and cold and wet for the next 4-5 months. With the spring sun, joy returns to us and we come out of our holes. You got to experience that feeling when you visited here at that moment. Welcome again in early summer, when Finland gives its best.
Sarcastic rudeness. I know, Finland is just that. And yet it's cold all over scandi, was just out yesterday on my bike, 6 C. Some ppl looked at me as if
Nice video thank you⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐💪✌🙏🏍
Thanks for sharing!
You are my hero, doing these kind of trips on your own.
Totally agree she's got a lot of ba88s🤩
So good to hear you sounding so much more positive and looking happier - the sparkle is back :)

I’ve wanted to do this area for ages and I was so happy to land in Estonia - it’s an awkward one to get to so a real achievement.
Lovely. I enjoyed that and glad to see things are on the up.
You are amazing - its a challenge to ride a sports bike through the nordic countries in the winter…most would be riding an enduro…keep safe 👍

Please, come back to Finland in the summer. Now is not the right time to discover our country on a sports bike.
I’ll be back 💖
Great video 👍

Fairly confident her gear is heated (well, I hope so for her sake). As long as you stay dry and warm riding in rain isn't so bad.

I know! Very excited about the new Suzuki and BMW 400s

In Valga/Valka, the towns on either side of the EE/LV border there is a swing and you can swing back and forth between the two countries.
Missed this completely, that would have kept me entertained for hours

Love that lifestyle, if I lived closer to the fast boat to France I’d be going every month just for cheese 😬
The bike satnav needs a "no unpaved roads" setting if it doesn't have it.
It does have it, of course ‘unpaved roads’ are unticked so it is supposed to avoid them but I don’t trust it
It looks just like the middle and southern sweden

Curious as to what happened to Pinky's clutch lever guard?
She never had one
@@R1_Lizwell that’s a jolly good reason. Ta.
I'd be interested in the process that qualifies as cooking, using ham, cheese quail eggs and bread tho!
It was a mess. I made a mess.
Black bird with white head, looks like somebody's pet, and the head is shaped like a parrot. I would guess either bald eagle or parrot.
I only go on boats that rachet ur bike for you. I'm not doing their work for free unless I get paid to 😂
It takes seconds 🤷♀️

You should stay in finland a week longer. You and pinky could drive 20 cm of snow then..😂
I want that for myself

Hoi Liz! If u need a place to crash on your way home at Bremen, Germany drop us a msg! cheers, stay safe!
Hi! Thanks for the kind offer, but I’ve been back in England for a week now 😅
@ great to know ur back safe! i got heated gear myself now, but not sure i‘d replicate your trip, what an adventure!
Unfortunately this was a very boring video 😮...
Well I liked it.
I liked it too
