【Synopsis】
Minglan (played by Zhao Liying), the sixth daughter of the Sheng family, has been intelligent and beautiful since she was a child. However, she faces the difficulties of an unkind stepmother, troublesome sisters, a father who doesn't value her, and the tragic death of her birth mother. She hid her intelligence, buried her talents, endured humiliation, and adversity to grow up, remained self-reliant under all kinds of pressure, and finally went through all the hardships to avenge her mother. In the process, Minglan meets Gu Tingye (played by Feng Shaofeng), the second son of the Marquis of Ningyuan. has helped and criticized Minglan, witnessing her sharp intelligence beneath her seemingly weak exterior and recognizing her inner strength and vulnerability. He falls in love with her long ago. Amidst the changing political landscape, with Gu Tingye's support, a distant relative of the Zhao family is declared the crown prince, and Gu Tingye, holding the imperial decree, defeats the rebels and helps enthrone the new emperor. He becomes the new dynasty's top hero and, through strategic maneuvers, marries Minglan. After marriage, Minglan manages the household, reforms the Marquis's mansion, eliminates corrupt officials, and assists her husband in consolidating his power. The couple overcomes misunderstandings and builds a deep bond, eventually helping the new emperor stabilize his reign and enjoy a happy life together.

我已经看了好几遍了，现在又重新看，谢谢正午阳光拍出这么好的电视剧，我最爱的电视剧除了知否，就是父母爱情和琅琊榜了，哈哈
甄嬛传和知否大概是我刷过最多的两部经典古装剧了，百看不厌。

This is my most favourite story. I have watched it so many times. Love the costumes. Would love more dramas like this one.
A Master Piece, enjoyed every second & learnt a lot of good morals. Any Other C-Drama just like this Unique Drama amongst the best well played from AtoZ

I was acctually finished it 5 months ago. I just come to reminding best2 moments in this series. its so good drama. Very entertaining. I love their character, the chemistry between MC is so sweet, and the plot is amazing. Maybe one day i will rewatching.😊❤
Thank you for this. This is actually my 4th time seeing this movie series. It's a really great story and even though it is realistic the story is full of excitement, wits, and is so natural. So far out of all the Chinese dramas I've seen this still remains number 1 for me.

Story so confusing, that kid in white clothing 15:55 comes together with the other kid in blue clothing. 20:27 this kid is Changfeng , different from that kid. But in 33:09 , why is this kid in white clothing acting as if they're from different family ?? Aren't they coming together before ?
15:55 n 33:09 is the same kid,Shing family 's elder son Changpie. son of 1st wife.20:27,Changfeng,son of 2nd wife.
Changpie ,as leader of welcoming team ,rode home together with guest team.
