Making My Own Vintage Lipstick| DIY Vintage Replica Lipstick💄

If you like history, makeup and science experiments, this video is for you! I followed a 1950’s video on how they used to make lipstick and did a little experiment/ DIY of my own :) I have always wanted to make my own vintage lipstick as close to the original, and I finally did, yay!

Rad! My mom used to work at the MAC factory back in the 70s and she said her favorite department was lipsticks...working with color formulas, assembly line, finishes, etc. was relaxing😊 Great job💋

Very cool!! I went through an experimenting phase with trying to make my own perfume using different oils and vodka as a base 😂 let’s just say it’s a good thing I kept my day job. You did amazing!!

Awsome job!! If you want it a tad bit more moisturizing, try adding a touch of lanolin. For more matte, a bit of talc or clay ( like kaolin). A lot of vintage formulas had lanolin and talc in, which made them matte AND moisturing. HIH!! ❤🙏❤

You need pigments that’s natural pigments . Don’t use things that cause cancer . I found this kit that’s really extremely ok and when my lot arrives I’ll make this lipstick. Let me know you want the link to the kit I’m getting . Stay warm and safe .
