OMG it looks so good! This is the first video I've seen of someone actually opening up this kit. I wish I would've known about it sooner since it's out of stock until March 😭 I ended getting the regular gouache kit but I wish I could've gotten Sbylline's guide on gouache and her sketchbook
Just have to say when you said doo-too-roo I thought of Mayuri from Steins;Gate. If you haven't seen it, I recommend, but you'll be hella confused at first😁 Love how the piece turned out and omg when you open your shop back up fully, hoping for some fashion cats prints and stickers😊💙
Ahh your coffee cat was so cute! I love your colour choices a lot too, really nicely balanced :-) Have you had much chance to use the workbook yet? How would you rate it?
I have been keeping it as more of a collectible, as I have (I feel) enough experience with the medium to not really need to use it. but I can tell it would be an amazing resource for newbies! maybe I'll do some of the exercises for another video? ^_^
@@ArtbyTuna Ah, yeah that totally makes sense :-) I've been considering getting the set just for the workbook, as I already own most of the materials but am pretty much a total newbie, so I'm trying to figure out if it's worth it ^^;
the $$ does math out to be a pretty good deal - when the tubes of paint can be $10 each themselves. but it's a big investment, so I completely understand!
Thanks for your reply! Her workbook etc is also really valuable and cool! If import costs wouldn’t be so high I might have made the splurge for the kit. But I ended up buying 5 tubes of the holbein gouache for 6 euros each and one of those princeton brushes with the kit as inspiration. :)
@@emmamariamakes I actually didn't have to pay any import costs into the EU (Ireland) for this box, they may have pre-paid! you got a good price on the gouache though - have fun with it!!

aww I know you'll love the regular kit too! maybe there will be more sibylline kits in the future, or the sketchbook will be available separately.

Do you know, by chance, when will be the latest to order that specific kit? I've never ordered from Mossery either. I'm gonna try and save up for it.

Nice! On their website they stated that they arent responsible for fees so I wasn’t willing to take the risk. But I love the gouache ☺️ All the best

does acrylic gouache can't be use or reactivate when it dries out in the palette?
yes that's right, so it's important not to put too much out at once, as with acrylic paint!
