This videos is exactly why I am currently in Iceland, and was here for New Years Eve.
So i accidentally had this song playing on something else as well, just 20 seconds behind the original..... its so beautiful it blew my mind. sounded like one song. I didn't think this song could sound any more beautiful. you've got to try it.
This video is the exact reason why I'm going to Iceland for NYE this year.

Jonsi has a voice unlike any other, imperfect in the most perfect ways.
i know this is not in the lyrics, but at 2:40, i distinctly hear jonsi sing "we are all meant to go...home." maybe i'm hearing it wrong (i most likely am), but to me it feels like a small nudge, a small sign, that i meant to go home, back to my true home, which is iceland.
I always support hearing what you want to hear in lyrics.
If you say "go back", does it mean you're from Iceland? (I've been there, btw)
I love Jónsi and Sigur Ros because when they sing in either English, Icelandic or Hopelandic. We are able to interpret the voice without even looking at the lyrics

You can find more music from his band - Sigur Ros. They just performed a few months ago at the Sasquatch Festival in WA, so yeah - they're still around and making music. :)
