What a song!!! This was performed at Memphis Quartet Show 2019 and featured Steve Ladd. Other group members are Tim Rackley, Douglas Roark, and Daniel Ashmore.
Come Sunday Morning Lyrics The disciples were gathered in an upper room their world was sealed up in a garden tomb there in the darkness they were so afraid unsure of tomorrow and what they would face 'Cause on Friday, the Savior died on a cross. Saturday it seemed like all hope was lost. But soon, there would be cause for rejoicing, 'Cause everything changes, Come Sunday morning Not one could remember the promise he made that he'd lay his life down but in just three days the grave would surrender in total defeat and death would be swallowed up in victory 'Cause on Friday, the Savior died on a cross. Saturday it seemed like all hope was lost. But soon, there would be cause for rejoicing, 'Cause everything changes, Come Sunday morning When the angel rolled that stone away and suddenly there's hope when just three days ago On Friday, the Savior died on a cross. Saturday it seemed like all hope was lost. But soon, there would be cause for rejoicing, 'Cause everything changes, Come Sunday morning Come Sunday morning
There's only one problem with this song. It's not biblical. Jesus wasn't crucified on Friday. They have the time wrong. You can't get 3 days and 3 nights from Friday to Sunday morning.
Dale Robbins If you really want to get technical, His name isn’t Jesus...it’s Yeshua. And he wasn’t born on December 25th and they didn’t go to church on Sunday. 👍🏻
Wow!!! Be at your church Sunday? Great!!
I will see you Saturday!!!
I will see you May 5th
Steve is my buddy!
This group came to our church tonight they were amazing.
Thank you, Jesus, for Sunday Morning!!
Come Sunday Morning Lyrics
The disciples were gathered
in an upper room
their world was sealed up
in a garden tomb
there in the darkness
they were so afraid
unsure of tomorrow
and what they would face
'Cause on Friday, the Savior died on a cross. Saturday it seemed like all hope was lost. But soon, there would be cause for rejoicing, 'Cause everything changes,
Come Sunday morning
Not one could remember
the promise he made
that he'd lay his life down
but in just three days
the grave would surrender
in total defeat
and death would be swallowed up
in victory
'Cause on Friday, the Savior died on a cross. Saturday it seemed like all hope was lost. But soon, there would be cause for rejoicing, 'Cause everything changes,
Come Sunday morning
When the angel rolled that stone away
and suddenly there's hope
when just three days ago
On Friday, the Savior died on a cross. Saturday it seemed like all hope was lost. But soon, there would be cause for rejoicing, 'Cause everything changes,
Come Sunday morning
Come Sunday morning
