Having rainny weather shows that ebikes can ride during rain with no problems and thanks for the review. I ordered a HD 2020 back in May and it was not as equiped as the one you reviewed. Because of the virus, all the world stopped and by the time things got back on track Biktrix took out a new HD and called it HD Duo with bigger batteries and front end suspensions.
My mistake, I went to the site itself and this HD model does go 35 MHP, and the basic Biktrix Juggernaut Classic goes only a top speed of 30 MPH, though has more of a wider color palette option and is.... of course more cheaper then the HD version of the model. I’m actually at a loss at which one to get? The top quality one, or the less expensive one that goes less fast and there for less likely to get pulled over by the police? That or just get the Lectric XP foldable fat tire bike e-bike, that way next time when I need to get my car maitenanced I can just pull it out of the trunk of my car and also take it indoors to the factory near me? He does know that their are paneer bags available at the Biktrix site itself you can get for this bike, does he?
It's a cut above. The build quality, the equipment spec and the price point of course. Its like a Bentley in cars, so, they should have wired in a rear light, rather than subject owners to having to installing andsettling for a seatpost mounted piece of embarrassment.
@@bugasmike No, hush. Every flaw needs to be put on full display so they are encouraged to change it in the next iteration. Shouting down people who want nothing more than their issues to be acknowledged is unhelpful and toxic.
I really like this bike. I plan on replacing my Pedego Ridgerider next year and this bike is high on my list. I do wish the bike came with a flashing headlight mode for daytime riding and a build in rear light (also with a flashing mode).
In your opinion, do you think this bike would be good for food delivery? I plan on using my rear rack with a delivery bag and my ulock. Wondering if this bike would be great for the city and hills?
Are you sure you don’t mean 28 mph instead of 38 mph? Cuz the other E-Bike review said it only goes up to 28 mph, depending on the features you get with it I suppose? Plus how is the mid drive against the bike chain? Is there a gear that takes up the slack or is it a higher grade bike chain that is more durable then the standard bike chain?
elevenAD Are you sure it’s the Juggernaut.... Classic.... HD? Because I did check the site and it confirms that it can go up to 35 mph, and I think that’s only for off road and private streets, unless you have a type 4 license? Plus not only did I make a revised my comment shortly after this one you read, but also mid-drive motors can be really powerful and it’s 1000 watts, so.... that can go 35mph, like the rear hub motor of the Vintage Electric Bike.
The guy on Electric Bike Report did an overview of this e-bike. Though it was an overview 7.5 mins shorter than your video, he provided more useful information - especially as regards optioning whereas your review sounds a bit improvised. He also made apparent the price point and emphadized the so obviously superior build quality (ie. hydroformed frame among other things) which made it clear this bike was a cut above the 1.5 to 1.9k crowd. Your review portrays it as just another central motor HD. Youve overlooked motivating why a prospective buyer would want to buy a bike at this price point. Bear in mind the starting price is $2599 for the base spec. For some, a grand more is an obstacle, but for some, its not. Your video perhaps unintentionally treats this e-bike as just another in a selection whereas, the bike is more like the Bentley of bikes. Your vid was useful nevertheless. 👍🏼

6:58 Not having a rear light is a little weird, considering that this bike is classed as a moped.
Bafang doesn't do rear light integration, which I also find to be a huge failing.
Also, it's not classified as a moped in Canada, where this video was filmed, but a rear brake light would be really nice.

I caught that, too. It’s gotta be 15 HUNDRED watts.
