I worked at Costco for a really long time, nearly a decade, and I worked predominantly in the liquor store. The selection of alcohols changes pretty frequently due to the nature of alcohol frequently suffering shortages, but I don't think I've had a Kirkland alcohol that I thought was bad for the price. Also, last time I went to buy it they were out of spiced rum, and from everything I went through when we were out of any kirkland product, I don't blame any employee for being filled with hate everytime someone asks for a sold out product. People are vile as hell when mildly inconvenienced

The difference between liquor and liqueur is liquor has a higher range of ABV. liqueur is typically between 15 to 35% and also contains a lot more sugar than liquors.
Kirkland is honestly completely fine for casual drinkers. It's not awful like bad cheap liquors, but most people don't have the palate to distinguish mid liquors from higher dollar stuff.

I... like gin. Usually I do drink it with ice, maybe a bit of water, but I prefer gin way more to vodka. Vodka is just so... boring. Plus, gin is basically just vodka with juniper berries. Depending on the kind of gin you get the flavor can be wildly different.

The difference between liquor and liqueur is liquor has a higher range of ABV. liqueur is typically between 15 to 35% and also contains a lot more sugar than liquors.

Kirkland is honestly completely fine for casual drinkers. It's not awful like bad cheap liquors, but most people don't have the palate to distinguish mid liquors from higher dollar stuff.
