If you have the money just go for the J7. It is more stylish a bit more premium inside out. Can opt for 4WD. And if you are looking for value, T7Pro is the choice right now for the market.

I noticed that the control panels on the steering was not lighted up for most part of the video. It was only lighted up towards the last 3 to 4 minutes of the video. Can the control panel illumination be turned on and off?
Nope the lights on the steering wheel is not able to turn off separately. Unfortunately this is due to the steering buttons suddenly lost its functionality during my test drive session.
so its true what i heard that this car has electrical issues..

from the video the screen looks quite bright. will it be very distracting when u were driving?
Is ok for me on the auto brightness setting. You can adjust the brightness manually if you want.

Saya dah test drive, bagi saya X70 lagi sedap lagi confort lagi senyap & lagi stabil, size ni pon kecik je mcm x50 rasa, tapi harga sedih mcm x90
tapi x70 dah boring la bang..dah selalu tengok atas jalan. yg baru ni facelift jer pun. belakang mcm sebijik dngn prefacelift..dah x rasa special

How this drives compared to latest X70?
I think besides of NVH and comfort, this exceeded X70 in most of the aspects. Of coz at the end still will goes back to your personal preference.
@ facts is facts brother. If you think the J7 exceeds X70, then I believe you. Me myself is an owner of X70 MC2. This is my 2nd Proton in long time. I found it rather average on comfort and in many expects. Thinking I want to upgrade next year…
@@FairozeeHashim You can go and test drive to compare. I believe as an owner of X70 you have better view and feel of the car itself for longer term. So you may found some little details that usually won’t able to get during just test drive. But you need to be unbiased while doing comparison, coz usually people will bias towards something they favor instead of pure facts. Or I should say something more suite their preference.
I realised the armrest seem too high will ganggu left hand when turing the steering. Am i right?
I am not bother by it tho. Sometimes I just rest on it while idle and while driving my hand usually not stays on the armrest.

While it might not score very well in this department. But it is still above average for NVH
have to look at the price, this is a 140 to 150k suv you cant expect have the best nvh
Not bad ,the noise is amplified,I can hear hands rubbing steering noise too.
Stay in the coffin surely no NVH
I understand...If u watch other car review especially those luxury car known for their refinement, the noise is also quite apparent. thts whts been picked up from the mic. But in real life they r actually very quiet. I suggest u go for a test drive and see if it is to ur liking.. hope this helps..

Hi If you have the budget go for J7. It check more boxes than the X70. Of coz the X70 has it own strong point like better NVH and more comfy seats. Personal preference bro. Go and test drive both cars before decide.
