Oh that part from 'retrieving a RIB' to 'parallel parking'... that's a copy of my life, I tell you. Thanks for that.

Lovely to see you enjoying the wonderful river Tamar. I live in Callington, about 3 miles away and I’m often at Halton quay and Cotehele.

This brought back memories of a trip in my Wanderer from Cargreen to Morwellham Quay with the WCOA. A great place to explore.

Thanks for the video. Tomorrow I plan to strike out from Launceston to the Tamar river heads. In Tasmania this time! A distance of some 37 miles from the uppermost reaches of the estuary to where the Tamar empties itself into the. Bass Strait. 😊 cheers Chris.

You are so fortunate! My boat is sitting on its mooring and we've had a never ending series of force 8-10 SW winds. I've now not been able to get out for 3 weeks.

This was earlier in the summer. We’ve been snatching day sails between the weather ever since.

@@Morningvicar Hi Paul - I finally got out to the boat today and all was well except that BOTH rigging screws had come undone so there was nothing holding the mast side to side! Thankfully the mast looked fine. One screw was still complete so I re-fitted it, the other had lost its 'screw' so I made a temp repair with a lashing and I've ordered 2 new ones. Fortunately despite 2 force tens and numerous 8s and 9s there was no other damage and no water in the bilge, and the (inboard) engine started first time! I love my Shrimper!

2:48 Police smelling for bacon sandwiches on suspicious boats snooping around the naval dockyard? Some sort of filtering out of an ISIS terrorist threat?😂
