What is the recipe for your combination for pickling! I saw that mason jar you showed and it looks great! Can you share what you made? I think I saw Jerusalem artichoke!, garlic, bay leaves, Rose Mary, peppercorns? It that what it is? I'm growing those too!
Hi I include a recipe for pickling sunchoke at the end of my video on sunchokes - ruclips.net/video/BnbSQkFNuus/видео.htmlsi=98BZ3JzQD4Sdk7j4 at the end 😊
@@jacquelineherve6351 hi Jacqueline - I would visit your local plant nursery- some nurseries sell online and you can get the plant delivered to your house - if you go the online purchase make sure you inbox quickly or your plant will start suffering. You could try getting a few cuttings of an existing plant but as I mentioned in the video there is a high attrition rate - hope you get to grow your bay tree - 😀
@@VannaPhaksa hi Vanna I think the easiest way is to buy a small one in a pot from a nursery- but if you have the patience and know someone who grows one you can try cuttings. They take a long time. Only one of the 6 that I made when I was filming the video is still alive.
Thank you ❤
The leaves look beautiful with the light behind them - the veins are intricate ❤
Fantastic uses for a bay leaf... yummy recipes
Thank you so much 😊
I have a cup of bay leaf and cinnamon tea each morning. Steep 2 leaves with a small cinnamon stick. Cinnamon adds sweetness.
@@marinak221 that sounds nice - will try it 👍
Try the tea if you have a little joint pain - I found it surprisingly effective
I am keen to grow a bay tree, now you have inspired me. Thank you Robyn.
@@felicitycrichton6667 it will grow well in your temperate climate
