      Hi Al. I am doing your program Get Strong and I have a problem with pull ups and chin ups. I can do first series of 8 reps, but when it comes to do next series of 8 I can only do 3 to 4 reps. I fill like I don't have a strength. I do pull ups for a long time and I can only do 1 series good and other series are very bad. Where is my problem?

    I am impressed with your chin up/pull up exercises! Also, I'm MORE impressed that you can do all of these variations with a smile on your face. Looks like you're having a lot of fun. I just bought a pull up bar, so I hope to be smiling like you. :)

    There are certain stretches and exercises like pronator training that you can do to ease golfer's elbow. Google dodgy elbow and you'll find some explanations on that. There are two more stretches that aren't explained there, you should be able to find them via google too...

    i would say not too often, i do them sometimes to see what i can do out of interest, but you don't wanna do them all the time because you'll just burn yourself out straight away and your workout won't be as effective, to increase your reps just practice!! or use a weighted vest or any kind of weight you can hang off yourself.

    Al Kavadlo you are awesome!Nice videos with lot of practice behind itBut i have a question:Do you make break days(I dont)are they important?I dont want to injure myself.I have serious physical training in school and after it I'm already about to start my workout.My record is 20 pull ups and i can do a one handed pushup on 3 fingers like you :D.Im also 15 years old.So I train real hard.I ask you because you are the man I admire the most in calisthenics questions.Answer please.Thank you very much!

    Actually pull ups do activate the abs quite a bit, so as long as they're just hurting from exhaustion, you're good. ;-)

    al totally amazing channel, do u have any advice for tendon pain on inner elbow, i can do pull ups at present with no niggles but when i go underhand palms facing me the pain comes so iv dropped them for now but dont want my biceps to suffer, any advice u have would be deeply appreciated

    Greetings from the UK Al!
    I'm trying to master the one arm pull up with several progressions and the one I'm focusing on right now is the One Hand Pull Up/Uneven Pull Up. However my progress has been impeded by pains in the wrists where the assisting hand grabs the hanging hand, thus bringing down my total rep count from 10~12 reps max each hand to 5~6 reps each hands. Are there any ways to overcome this problem?

    Hey hey hey Al! I have a question for you!
    I literally felt in love with CC philosophy about six months ago.
    I'm in half pullup step (CC step 4) for about two months and half, I am able to do religiously 11-13 (depends on the day) half pullups with 2-1-2-1 cadence with HIGH tension. But after those my muscle begin to be congested of lactic acid and, you know, they can't contract as well.
    Do you think it is legit to rest 5-10 secs to crank up other two strict half pullups? or do I follow to try in this manner until hit 15 even if it takes other months?
    (I can do 8-10, 2-1-2-1 strict full pullups without fatigue)

    Do you have any suggestions for those of us that are truck drivers and don't often find places strong enough to support our weight because we're constantly moving around the country.

    Can I from flex hang go straight to negative pull up? Also sometimes when I do negative pull up my abs hurt, is that normal?

    This is a great tutorial but the cringe-meter is off the charts!
