Dear Brethren. If you are going to record congregational singing, please do it right, hm? Get a boom mike or two over the choir, they're leading the charge. And get a couple more over the congregation. One mike at the lectern demeans the great hymns, and the effort put in to present them..

I was making a comment on the technical nature of your recording. I'm not sure what else you could do to improve the quality, but maybe a consultation with an sound expert might give you some ideas....
