Were there any products/ingredients I shared that caught your eye? Would love to hear about it! Also, if you'd like to help support this channel, here is a link to my store: standard.tv/collections/msbeautyphile
I've been quiet with the videos for awhile, but it feels good to be back :D If you have any questions, I'm online for the next hour or so, or you can leave me a message and I'll respond and soon as I get a chance!
it only represents the top layer of skin, so it's very very thin. It doesn't feel like much. The image that you see is an extreme close up. I am not sure what the magnification is, but I'll find out for ya!
Different. Lead acetate is what dyes the hair is in Grecian Formula. N-acetyl tyrosine is in Darkenyl. It's a synthetic precursor that actually triggers melanin production in the hair follicle. I'm going to try it in a video real soon. Apparently it takes about a month before you see visible results. I have a nice little gray streak to test!
Oooh my name was in the video, made me forget my comments lol. Thank you for sharing your experience, something I'd never have thought of so was awesome to see it through someones eyes as passionate as yours. Also, that challenge would have been fun to be in, even if I didn't know what I was doing. P.S That outfit + you = super cute P.S.S Au revoir, bonne matinée belle dame.
Sometimes it takes me a bit of time to make these videos because I have to reach out to all the companies and have the products shipped to me. Hearing you enjoyed the video makes it all worth it. Were there any favorites that you had? Thanks for the comment on my outfit! I don't usually dress up nice for a video, but if felt nice to gussy up for a change ☺
You're outfit is super cute! Edible fragrance is a good idea. Accidentally getting perfume in your mouth is AWFUL. Worse than eating an orange after brushing your teeth. Thanks for the recap.
Thank you! The outfit makes me feel like Lois Lane from the Daily Planet 😂 Getting perfume in your mouth definitely is not the best taste. I was so excited to try the edible fragrances. The flavors had names like Cherry Blossom and Mandarin or Pear and Vanilla. The taste didn't feel as sophisticated as the name and was somewhat sticky on skin. I do however believe that the evolution of this idea IS the future for fragrances. So kudos to the company for pioneering it and I look forward to seeing future iterations of the product!
My mind loves trade shows - but my feet hate them. Thanks for doing all the walking for us! @3:28 the description of pigments made me think of car paint, with its multiple layers and clear coats.
HAHA. Yes, I got some mileage or kilometers on my heels! Funny you mentioned 3:28 because I was just saying on FB that these effects are used in car paint and cosmetics! Reflection and refraction of light through different materials is used to create these fascinating interactions with color!

Does the fake skin still feel like skin or more like a fabric?

N-acetyl-tyrosine Is it in Grecian Formula? How is it different?
