I use the brush styling method too with the same styling brush. I use a lightweight curl creme with protein for my hair and brush style in sections for max coverage. Sometimes I brush the gel in depending on the gel. I love the Curls Blueberry bliss gel and mix that in with whatever gel I'm using to give it more hold. I've been going to TJ Maxx and experimenting with Curlsmith products as they are less expensive and have trial sizes. You both have beautiful hair. God Bless

If you battle with frizz use acurl cream to lock in moisture the a gel for hold and to help with frizz then still use the brush after the products are in .. mousse can dry out hair sometimes
