    hey mama! here are a few tips from a fellow curly head with long dry hair since i see you're struggling with a little frizz:
    1. if your hair is frizzy when it's still wet, it usually means it's not wet enough. try re-wetting the sections, especially the ends which tend to be the driest!
    2. i find that using a cream leave-in conditioner works sooo much better for my dry hair than a spray one (i actually used the one you have in the video but it unfortunately just didn't moisturize my hair nearly enough, thus making it frizzy).
    3. recently i've found that taking bigger sections of hair through my denman brush works so well! and it creates a lot more tension which makes the curls form juicy clumps
    4. if all else fails, just use more gel or mousse LOL
    both of you have gorgeous hair :)

    • @nathaliarleite

      A trim could also help with stringy ends!

    • @tuttyfat
      @tuttyfat 2 года назад +1

      @@nathaliarleite that is EXACTLY what the problem is. Her daughters hair looks so much better because it's so much HEALTHIER. The moms hair doesn't look like it's ever been trimmed.
      Edit: She needs about 12" cut off. The health and appearance will look amazing!

    Apply gel with praying hands FIRST after using Denman Brush then scrunch several times CAREFULLY. That will help keep your curl clumps together initially before you scrunch. THEN use your microfiber towel to scrunch carefully (bottom up) before diffusing and apply oil as last step for extra moisture. This really helps me with initial frizz on first day. 😀

    Both of you have beautiful hair and it turned out really nice. If you use a protein treatment you should also follow it up with a moisturizing deep conditioner, otherwise it will make your hair dry. I noticed that with my own hair and since I started doing this, it’s helped a lot with dryness.

    Being a person who's hair is getting curlier by the day compared to when I was a kid thinking I had straight hair I can say with confidence that your other daughter has wavy hair it has just been trained to dry straight. I recommend to her to start brushing her hair like you did in the video and scrunching it. It will take a while to start to see a difference but if she wanted to she could "benefit" (even though her strait hair is beautiful) from training her hair to be in it's natural state.

    to reduce the frizz you should try applying the gel to your hair by running it through with your hands then by using the Denman brush

    • @alicesings1971
      @alicesings1971 19 дней назад

      I was just going to comment that too ! I get a lot less frizz from brush styling the gel. I also had to stop plopping my hair and instead using my micro fiber towel or T-shirt and micro plopping which is scrunching with the micro fiber towel and holding it up for a bit. Whatever your doing is fine as your hair is just beautiful l

    A way to help with the frizz is when you are done with adding the products take your Denman brush and take a curl and brush through it with the handle up then when you get to the end twist the hair up the handle kinda like with a curling iron and the gently untwist it qnd it helps clump the curls and be less frizzy

    One of the steps that is important which is applying a light layer of any oil of your choice right off when you take your hair out of the t-shirt. It works just like the gel but it's better for the drier hair. +I've heard that the mousse is one of the reasons that creates a dryer look even when the hair is fully deep conditioned. All in all both of your hair look amaaaazzing

      @@TheMooreTheMerrier It was great, it was a lot of fun watching it.
      I only have one note, if you were brushing your hair and you feel it is like a elastic, that means your hair needs strength (protein). Also, if your hair breks easily while brushing it, that means your hair doesn’t need protein, it needs moisturizing products.
      If your hair needs protein, don’t cut the moisturizing products (The one that doesn’t have any protein ingredient), but if your hair needs moisturizing products, cut the protein products until your hair is great, then you can balance between the protein and the moisturizing products.
      I think you are using too mush protein in your hair.
      Fixing your hair when it has so mush protien in (needs only moisturizing products) is a lot hadrer when it has so much moisturizing products( needs protien products)
      You can search for your hair porosity type (high, low, normal) to enshure how much protien your hair needs.
      Even if your hair is high porosity, I think you are adding so much protein if you are using all these products daily.
      I hope I helped you.

    I have very curly hair too. I usually wash my hair with Herbal Essences Curl Shampoo then rinse. After that I use Herbal Essences Curl Conditioner. They both leave my hair smelling amazing. After my shower I dry with a microfiber towel. Then I brush through my hair with a wide tooth comb. 90% of the time I let my hair dry naturally. If I'm going into work I will twist it up in a claw clip. I only wash about every three days or so.

      Hi👋 I love hearing from good friends of the family! Awe, that’s awesome your kids are enjoying our vlog!👏 That’s a good question, no we don’t wash our hair in the sink…we did that for the video because it would be hard to film in the shower😂 So you watched Kenna’s kids, that was very sweet of you! Thanks for the kind message, maybe we will meet you and the family one of these days!💛

    Ok, Just did the Jarih routine and noticed in every step mom cambs and cambs and brushes and cambs(really much and as i see the curls out). I did the conditioner as Jirah did and omg, almost 300ml in 2 times so half time each and most stayed in(wauw), letting it stay in for 10-15m and rinse but not to much. Mom keeps cambing with few types of cambs and Jirah keeps crunching( so mom takes out and jirah crushes in). My hair way thicker and i noticed only little product of all did not go in. Much airdry and in a very easy way so much beter hair now. Blowout was berely needed seen tshirt took much out and gel too. Stil not total dry but so much fuller and bouncy. Yes, Jirah style for me. And funny to say that cambing in the conditioner did help spread it in and it did not really take out.. Wauw what a lesson, thanks for showing, so easy and actyallly fast.. nice.. Huggs and blessings..
