So you thought only elite runners and younger runners benefitted from endurance training and intervals?
The effects in the study when doing a mix of endurance sessions and interval training will show equal benefit regardless of age, sex or level.
It is not necessary to adjust your training based on age for instance is what I concluded from this 😉
Not that I thought that older runners wouldn’t benefit at all from interval training
