I am in my 70`s and have felt `different` since I was 13/14 years old. I had a dream which made me realise that I was here for a purpose, but did not understand what. I use to read books to try and make sense of how I was feeling, trying to understand. In the 50`s, 60`s and even 70`s it was a lonely journey. I am so happy that modern technology enables me to come onto sites like this, and find like minded people. I finally know my people, my tribe. “Wonder “ really struck me again. When I was first reading Elkhart Tolle’s book Now, I redefined it as my choice to see Negativity or Wonder. I could choose to see all these challenges as negativity, and videos like this remind me to wonder what consciousness I am evolving into, and how they are preparing me for a greater fulfillment of my purpose. Truly I have suffered more than enough, and the wonder is not that I am even more resilient, but a new level beyond, which I can only describe as dancing to my own heart and not allowing myself to feel the pain. It is just another obstacle that I have dissolved into nothingness. Hallelujah! Thank you all for your wonderful comments. I feel much less alone knowing we are an on- line tribe of sorts. And that's alright to not like to be called a "Chosen one". What do you prefer to be called? Whichever you choose, as long as it feel right to you and serves you for your higher good that's all that matters.

@@Jesboogiednwell said. I don’t want to do it to be special, I don’t want to be arrogant, or entitled. Have you heard of the quote, no good deed goes unpunished? We are the ones who tend to receive the most backlash while wanting the best for others. I believe it is only normal for those who live in darkness to fight the light that we bring. It is this very reason that we find ourselves tested, and doubting ourselves. I think the term chosen ones resonate with others because not many (myself included) have the conviction and faith to walk this journey given how treacherous it seems, so it serves to encourage or motivate us to keep walking into the fire. The term chosen gives me the feeling of being ordained by god, thus validating my convictions and gives me a moral direction, while at the same time I have to remind myself that I am merely mortal, and not to allow arrogance to take the hold, besides I should be feeling grateful for the gift of discernment, between good and evil. Anyways, these labels are just a reminder of the journey we are on, it doesn’t define you. Godspeed my brothers/sisters.

🤩Hello. This video really echoes with my little soul, as it gives a complete sense to my understanding. I have been through harsh times of doubts & deep "cleansing" of my soul. Even though it was difficult and nobody seemed to understand what I was going through I always told myself "keep faith". ☺I softly 'crossed the bridge to this new path of calling'. And you are definitely right: I find myself suddenly on a good place to give a helping hand to a person, I cross the street without thinking and I am back on good tracks (my Heart is leading me)... Toxic relationships were stopped by the universe. And what occurred this last Saturday is another proof of my higher sensibility: I was walking alongside the streets in Brussels, people were eating outside of the restaurants but the smell was terrible for me... 🤗I don't want to put a too large comment but I'd be absolutely happy to share my experience with you all! I have always felt different from others around me, friends and family, not better, just different. Unfortunately, with difference makes others uncomfortable around me. I was recently told that my thinking is delusional. This came from family. 😖
My daughter who knows the Spiritual Journey that I am on, was asked by her aunt (my sister), if she thought that I was being strange. It s sad when family question your journey and think that you are delusional and strange. I guess it is the price we sometime pay. I never talk to my sister about Spiritual matters anymore. I stick to safer things like weather, food, family etc. 🙂🙂🙂

I’ve always felt out of place. I’ve never fit with a specific group of people. But I know somewhere out there are “my people”. But the paradox is that “my people” (“our people”) are innately those who can’t be found in groups, certain events or specific places. So I don’t believe I will never find my people due to that very nature. It’s hard to accept even though through my life I’ve had many times I’ve made peace with it. Now is not one of those times though. The loneliness is debilitating lately. But, I will come to accept it again, hopefully sooner rather than later.
I did have a very synchronistic experience recently, however. Whenever I get the chance to rescue or save an animal, I do it. Last week, I found a bird that was injured. When I went into a store to get some things to feed it before I could bring it to a sanctuary because it was late at night, the song “I’m Like a Bird” by Nellie Ferraro was playing when I walked in. I had been feeling so lonely (as mentioned above) and for that moment, when I heard it playing, I felt like God was really with me, and maybe my mom too who I lost three years ago and that I wasn’t really alone. It reminded me that I was exactly where I was supposed to be.
Yes. All of those are my experience since grade school. I am 50 now start of my spiritual awakening. Start with 11:11.
I asked God. Why I am here in this earth. Why my life is not abundant.
I love helping people and animals even I don't have. I always prioritize others than myself. I asked God and I said I m so tired take my life Lord if I have no purpose here. My life is very challenging, i want to get rid of psychiatry drugs but my mom forces them upon me and i have told her millions of times how bad they are and aren't helping me in anyway but she doesn't listen or give any answer, she has zero critical thinking due to these atrocious drugs and huge amount of 1000mg twice a day for both of us, completely insane. No wonder i feel so much anxiety and weakness in my body.
how old are you? it’s tough to see through the system yet be forced into it by a parent who thinks they’re doing what’s best for you. find time to get quiet each day and listen for answers. hopefully you’re close enough to the age of majority to make your own health choices. stay strong ❤

@@laura6063 I am a grown up adult but still feel like a kid because I have lots of insecurities, i don't go out much. People generally tend to run away from me or are distracted by presence. I am having a hard time, almost every night I have weird nightmares. I feel like my mind is controlled in some way by negative energies or curses of people I have hurt. I had a crush on a girl whom I loved truly but never had the courage to express her but when I finally got the chance I totally messed it by becoming anxious and said something i shouldn't have then she cursed me, it long gone now but for some reason I still feel attached to her and just can't let go although i know holding on to her isn't helping me

I heard someone say recently: 'We didn't come here to fit in, we came here to stand out, because that's how we make a difference!' I have come to accept that I am different to many around me, and as it said in the video, I try to see this as a gift. Going through the motions is no longer a valid option for me.
I don't want to be a chosen one (whatever that means) leave me alone!

Although i struggle with the reference of chosen ones, because i believe we are all equal as we are all one in the same, i just believe we all have different paths, and purposes in this life, i do highly resonate with this video. I feel all of it. And i feel very alone and out of place. I am trying to find my tribe, but it has been difficult. I'm doing my best and hanging in there, but sometimes I feel like just giving up. Sometimes the pain and emotions are so overwhelming and i get so confused and doubtful. But i practice mindfulness, meditation, and reiki practices to overcome those negative thoughts and emotions. It is extremely difficult because when i see people who are hurtful, narcissistic living happily without a care, or it just may look that way on the surface, while i as a very good hearted spiritual person struggle inside, it really is discouraging sometimes. But idk the entire story behind closed doors. I have to watch that my thoughts and emotions don't take control. It is not easy, especially if you have been hurt by these people and it seems they are living the good life and have many friends while you struggle alone. How people don't see through the facade of these people i dont understand because i see right through them. Why do i, a good hearted loving person feel like I'm an outcast and that i did something wrong? That i don't understand. But i do resonate totally with this video.
I believe those who choose the spiritual path have accepted a challenge. It's certainly not an easy road a lot of the time, but definitely worthwhile. Consider the opposite, the life of a selfish person consists of constantly asking one question: 'Does this benefit me?' If the answer is yes then I'll do it. Pretty simple really. Some people build their whole life around this one question. Once you accept the greater challenge life gets more reflective and less easy. A spiritual person is constantly weighing their own needs against what serves the greater good, always walking that tight rope. I agree with your difficulty accepting the term 'chosen ones', maybe it should be 'ones that have chosen' to make a difference. Hang in there and keep going. I am certain there are many who appreciate (or at least benefit from) your efforts, best of all it's shaping you to be the person you want to be!
