- We continue our grass and foliage tutorial series with bushes and shrubs, a staple for any stylized environment! This builds off our previous grass tutorials where we go over painting grass and leaves, some good colors to use when painting, how to layer them for a fun style, and their general behavior. Painting bushes and shrubs are near essential if you want to create a stylized landscape set in a lush environment so I hope you join me in our next several grass tutorials where we go over different types of trees, plants, moods, vines, and other fun topics!

Hi Brandon, thanks for sharing your awesome skills with us! Could you add a thought perhaps on picking the right colors... how can one choose the preliminary colors for them to "work" this well? Right now I am simply copying your palette but not sure how to pick the colors on my own. Is there a chart of color swatches - that work - somewhere, so one can have it as a "universal" reference? Or is it more of a trial and error sort of a thing? I hope not, hehe ...thanks again for all your helpful videos!
Amazing work
But one question
Is it posible to use this technique to create things like trees
Otherwise you have my like
It is, but it depends on the tree. I'll get more into it on my future tree videos
