Really like your video this is my first I've seen of yours. I love cucumbers and the beita alpha is one of the best I've ever ate. I would like to pickle cucumbers this yr but have trouble with the pickling type being bitter. Any advice on a good Pickler that doesn't get bitter easy? Thank you
Try National Pickling cucumbers. They are designed just for that purpose. Also cucumbers have a compound called Cucurbitacin that is in the leaves but will leach into the cuke if it is under stress. It’s a natural defense mechanism to keep animals from eating it to early before the seeds are formed. Make sure to keep them fertilized and watered. Hope this helps.
