Fr Dellaert is my current pastor. He is one of the greatest priests I know. Profound knowledge, profound compassion, and profound holiness. Combined with Keith's charismatic personality and the Jubilee year, this will be one of the greatest pilgrimages of our lifetime
@keithnester thank you for interviewing Father Dellaert. After watching this video when it was first released, I thought, ‘what a nice pilgrimage for Keith and Estelle.’ Yesterday morning, I was driving and listening to another completely unrelated video that talked about so many miracles happening in a person’s life. This got me thinking about the possibility of going on this pilgrimage with Keith and Estelle. I’ve reached out to Select. I will know in about a week or so, if I can really commit to going, God willing.
Hi Veronica, I hope & trust by now you know you are going with Keith & Estelle, I hope you're going 😉 I've been blessed to see these beautiful sights Keith was talking about. I was waiting to hear him mention Cascia, it's where St Rita is from, I love her, her story & faith. I can't think of nicer people to be on Pilgrimage with other than Keith & Estelle. I'm sure Fr Dellaert is just as lovely... God bless you, your daily 'pilgrimage' & your bigtime Pilgrimage to Italy!+++ Ciao!!!
That sounds like a great combination, and I know the priest has lots of experience in Italy, since he used to serve as a priest at a parish I attend. A few tips: 1. As Keith points out about 27 minutes into is video, obstacles come up when you do something good, especially pilgrimages. I've allowed it to stop me too many times, and several years ago, I decided not to let such things get in my way. I went to Israel in 2020 of all years. I visited Italy last year. 2. The sidewalks/paths in Rome and much of Italy are made out of brick. They can be just uneven enough to make your feet a bit sore if they are flexing with each step. After a day or two walking in Rome, I found it beneficial to massage my feet. My legs could take the walking more than my feet, because my shoes flexed a bit too easily. So have good shoes, be ready for walking, and if sore, rub those feet or whatever else is sore. 3. The key points of interest in places like Orvieto and Assisi tend to prohibit photos. I wished I knew that in advance, since I came ready to take photos of places I cared about, and now will find it harder to remember. I always try to take some quick photos of many things when they are allowed, then I try to include some time for prayer and to simply experience a site (in any order). I found that Rome generally allowed photos, and going north from there, most places only allowed them when not near the main points of interest until we reached Florence. From there onward, photos were allowed just about everywhere again. The trip I was on did NOT go to to some of the interesting sites on the eastern part of the Italian peninsula that this trip will include (places I would love to see). 4. Italy is home to tons of Saints, so it can become a bit harder to keep it all straight, since they are from many time periods, and a single narrative thread is hard to find to tie them together. Face it, Saint Maria Goretti's hometown is just 40 miles or so south of Rome, so one could add that to a trip like this, but then there would be many others not far off the beaten path. (IC in CR has a relic of hers) 5. Good, authentic gelato (without all the extra additives) does NOT pile high. The bad shops trying to draw in tourists will pile it high to draw your attention. Seek the places where it's down inside of their metal containers. You will walk off enough calories that you can have some each day and not regret it. Also, the food there tends to satisfy hunger, rather than make you crave more. So smaller portions tend to suffice. Visiting there made me really wish food in America was made to satisfy hunger, rather than create cravings for more food.
Oh my goodness, I only been Catholic for 2 years!! Age 65 woman!! ( I’m a floor nurse.. night-shift) How do I pray for this opportunity!! I need contacts for support!!! ( no family or friends for directions) (Is there a prayer group for praying , directions, questions, other support!!)
Wow don’t stay deceived Catholic Church is of another Lord Jesus. It’s not what Jesus taught If you listen and wait you will see they are teaching against Jesus It’s not THE SAME CHRIST KEITH is going to hell. Praying to Mary and using the same repetitious prayers
@@TriciaPerry-mz7tc wow it's been a long time since we didn't see someone like you speaking negative snakes against us.... So used to it... Keith was a protestant pastor before he understood the truth.
Hey! Eloise! Come with us! Everyday at 5 central, come to the rosary crew with Keith Nester, it's a strong group of fraternity and prayer, since 4 years, from all around the world, see you there tonight!❤🔥❤🔥
Keith I’m gonna hit you with this because I thought you were a good man who had the decency to welcome contrary opinions even if they threaten catholic positions. Your own first primary pope once said 1 Peter 3:15 but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect, Buddy I’ve not presented anything in a disrespectful manner but I have given contrary food for thought in a direct manner to other posters iworth at least consideration of conversation. If all you’re looking for is people to agree with you on this channel, that’s a very bland debate but the very fact that you’re censoring me on other videos of yours is a little concerning man. I didn’t think that that was your character but now I’m not so sure. I desperately hope I’m wrong and that you are the man of God I think you are or at the very least this has nothing to do with you and it may be a technical issue with RUclips.
I have never censored you. RUclips removes comments all of the time. However, there are certain words that are flagged (but I doubt you have ever posted them).
@@KeithNester shwooooo thank God. Man i thought i was on your black list for a second. Thank you for letting me know man. Was gonna hit my whiskey tonight .

I went to Orvieto Cathedral on trip to Italy with my parents in 1992 when i was 10 yrs old. One of the most beautiful Churches you will see!
Just a moment i listened to your conversation with Dr, Scott Hahn and you are already in Rome!
