I can't help but think of 'Grand Theft Auto: Vice City' whenever I hear this song. I was in the first semester of my 7th grade year of middle school when that game came out & seeing as I'm somebody who was born in early-1989 & this game took place in the mid-1980's, this game & its sound-track, respectively will always hold a very special place in my heart. In fairness, the first time I ever heard anything by Go West was the song '1-Way Street' from 'Rocky 4'.
80s music was so great that it has inspired new, young artists who have done a great job in creating that 80s sound and vibe. Please stop saying there will never be another 80s. I am an original 80s new waver, and the stuff these new artists are releasing makes me feel 16 all over again.

This music video needs WAY more credit. It’s so intensely creative despite being nearly incoherent
yep! lol VERY creative but VERY goofy! LOL I can't help but think that the video creators did that on purpose and that there's many "inside jokes" in there. :-D
People just don’t understand the 80’s. We were serious about being intense. 😂
Well observed. Like a showreel for a SFX outfit. Big budget - sets, cast, choreography, FX galore.
from the way they are moving around it must be about hemorrhoids and he's calling for some preparation H
Probably the ONLY 80s song that did a Better Job waking people up before they go go
Love Peter Cox’s shoulder twitchy dancing….hilarious 😂
It honestly is he's like I'm running I'm running I'm gone

Peter Cox must be his stage name because it sounds like a gay p--- actor's name! 😂

Los 80's en general fueron grandes para la música literalmente cada año tiene aunque sea 5 albums que son obras maestras de la música gran época
"Tommy, Tommy! No time to hesitate, oh we must communicate" I always sing with this lyrics when playing GTA Vice City.
I was also saying this, even though I am still playing this game to this day
I am from Egypt and I love playing all the Grand Theft Auto games
Oh god I'm glad I was not the only one who thought he said "Tommy" instead of "call me", I was young and didn't know English haha.

The most underrated song
It's hard to believe that this song only hit #54 in the US on the Billboard Hot 100.

This song was not on the charts in America! I wish it would have been. I truly believe it would have definitely been a hit.
This track reached number 54 on the US Hot 100, Go west had 7 or 8 hits in America, the biggest being ‘king of wishful thinking’
I lived in Atlanta in 1985 and the main Top 40 station there played it frequently when it was on the charts

Those 80`s songs have their own uniqueness. The vids are just out standing. Computing time was so expensive these days.
Always smooth and gets better with time, a true classic.

Great song and great band. Good to see Peter Cox carrying on his sweaty vest look from ‘We Close our Eyes’.
80s fashion forever. I mean, if you said, singer is similar like in other Go West video
I will never understand why this wasn't a smash hit in the U.S.
Loved hearing this in the car in the mid 80s!
Still great!
Absolutely love this group. Going back down memory lane when I was very young and the music of the 80s was the best.
