I had my left side done in 18 and it didn’t go well ! They hit my lower nerve and gave me permanent drop ft!
But it did keep me from getting hip replacement ! Was 35 when I got it done!
Word of advice get/try to get disability insurance! Way before you have this surgery!
I was outa work for almost 2 years!

So sorry to hear about your complications! Thank you so much for providing that advice, this is something many people don't think about but should!! How far out are you from surgery now? I am officially 2 years out from my first hip surgery and 11 months out from my 2nd hip surgery! This week's video which drops in a couple of hours is all about my progress this far out, but I'd love to know what long term progress looks like from your perspective!

I am in Limbo! I have done 2 arthroscope surgeries and my Dr says the only thing that can help me is a replacement. Saw that Dr today and he said he will not preform that on me because I have no arthritis and am very healthy 50 yr old. He said I would be in constant pain after the replacement. What he pointed out was that I had hip dysplasia. Not horrible but enough to make any more repairs a waste a time for me. Don't know what to do.... I have bilateral labral tears and have moderate pain. Feeling helpless.

Thank you so much for sharing! I am preparing for PAO ,my teemin is in 2 weeks. Wanted to ask you about sleeping. How did you sleep after it? On what kind of bed should I sleep? Should it be soft or harder? I heard that air bed is good for it.... Thank you veri much. Kisses and hugs from Switzerland ❤️

Hey there! Sleeping was hit or miss initially post-op but I am sleeping very well now! I personally slept wherever felt most comfortable which really depended on the day haha. Usually I liked something more firm, whether that be a firm bed or sometimes even the couch! I just played it by ear and listened to what my body wanted depending on the day. Hope this helps!❤️ If you'd like to know more about my progress further out from my surgeries, make sure to check out today's video where I go into more detail about things my ortho surgeon has told me, reviewing x-rays, talking about PT, and a lot more! It comes out in a few hours, lemme know what you think ☺️

@@DOCGIRLFITNESS Thank you. I found your videos while researching my groin pain, and as investigations were underway, I watched them. I later found out I have bilateral FAI, so the things I learned from your experience came in very useful. Thanks again.

    How many days Full recovery

That's a great question and one that is so hard to answer! I am 10 months out from my 2nd surgery and would say I am still technically in recovery to being fully back to my new normal state of health. But I have been able to do a lot of things for several months now! So it's a tough thing to answer.
