The argument that china can't host more fighters in Shigatse due to the lack of hardened shelters falls flat when you consider the fact that they can fly in those fighters from other interior bases too, as now they got the Y-20 based refueller.

I’ve been thinking about our air defense strategy. While countering J-20s is crucial, I’m concerned that if we lose our Rafales, it could be a significant setback. It seems like our leadership isn’t showing much concern publicly about this issue. Additionally, with the recent purchase of Apaches, I wonder if we should have invested more in the Prachand helicopters, which are made in India and can be produced quickly if needed

Population of Russia is low and they cannot fight a ground war.
China is most populated nation with more capable military age men.

If we go by what China claims about the capabilities of J20, even very lesser numbers would be sufficient to strike in Indian territory. And what do you have in return? 36 Rafale? So yes there are a lot of things which decide how war is won, but just assuming numbers doesn't matter would be a naive assumption. Also, a base can be set up within 3 days for aircraft to take off. You don't need AI logistics to make an aeroplane fly specially J20. So we are severely outnumbered.

36 Rafels are too less. We need more modren aircrafts. In case of face off Chinese would put more J20's then what was displayed on the ground today. Also F35 should be considered at least to augument depleting strength.

Fact of the matter is PLAAF can't be challenged by IAF due to both quality and quantity...They already producing 100s of J10, J20, J31, J15 every year whereas we only have 8-10 Tejas production per year and just 36 Rafale inported from France...If MRFA or expedite the purchase of 114 more Rafale today then we have still a slim chance

Lockheed Martin is actively involved in Kf21.. Look at their speed.. 3 prototypes r already active and performing high G maneuver. By 2028-30 u would see Kf 21 in export market.
@@nishantshrivastava9674 By 2028-30, only a limited number of KF-21 aircraft will be operational in the South Korean Air Force. While they do intend to export the KF-21, this will only happen after their domestic requirements are fully met.
South Korea and Indonesia will not compromise their national security needs merely for the sake of international sales or to accommodate countries like India.
If you want the KF-21, you will have to wait your turn, which might not come until 2040 or 2050.
J20 is not a stealth fighter aircraft.

Yes. J20 is a heavy weight. But since its close to the border, that may not be an issue since it doesn't have to fly anywhere.. For the 36 Rafele, it may not matter. Except when It can't down the Rafele.

Look, I love your channel and your posts. But you did not say anything about how we will actually and directly counter J20s. Like, are you saying that our Rafales and our radar systems are capable of combating and neutralizing J20s if they happen to make an incursion into our airspace? Or are you saying that our S400 is capable of handling the incursions? If so, at what limits? And if so, why do we even need our Rafales?

In peace time the Stealth of a fighter jet is not revealed. Many us stealth planes fly with reflectors to hide their stealth technology so we can assume that china doesn't reveal it's best fighter jets capacity to misguide india

Mrfa is dead project instead of concentrating on mrfa we must buy 3 or 4 squardons of rafale and 6 to 8 squardons of tejas mk2 depending upon trails and concentrate more on amca fighter jets 300 to 350 and start a development of sixth generation fighter jet for the replacement of 4th generation fighter jet after 2050 or 2060s.
