Literally as I was searching for thumbnail pics I found more drawings of unreleased La Dee Da stuff including the rest of the art show line!! : www.coroflot.com/aottney/La-Dee-Da
I remember these dolls on the shelf.I was taking my daughter to a birthday party and we were choosing between La dee da and Cutie Pops.We picked the Cutie Pop.Both of which I love. Both of which I have most of.I have been collecting dolls for 40+ years now and would love to start my own you tube channel as I put my doll room together.I probable have 10,000 dolls,at least half were thrifted.Yours was the first You tube channel I found and watched and is one of my favorite.Thank you for all the work you do.
Loved this video Brooke! La Dee Da is one of my favourite doll lines and you are right, they don't get talked about very often. I first discovered them when I found a second hand Tylie snow queen doll and fixed her up! I've loved them ever since, they are so pretty and unique, I am slowly collecting them all:)
0:01 Oh my goodness! I had the three dolls fully displayed on the right side, and the left doll on the thumbnail! I distinctly remember the texture of the cotton candy girl’s hair and dress. Thank you for the nostalgia :)
I loved this video! You have such a wealth of knowledge and resources but I’m not surprised considering your education and passion for information. After watching a video from a while ago I purchased five La Dee Da dolls and Le Bun (as a dachshund fan). I think I buy at least one doll after every video of yours because you do such a great job of showcasing them. You should get advertising dollars or a commission. I would never have seen these dolls if you hadn’t shown them.
This video format is really fun!! And your knowledge of more niche or small doll brand history is super interesting and fun so I'd be very excited if this kind of video became a regular occurrence on the channel ^_^ !!
Wow these are so cute!!! Did not know they went this hard with these dolls. I knew about these dolls from a Skylander Boy and Girl Easter video back in the day.
I’ve briefly heard about La Dee Da but never fully looked into them. I think they’re really amazing and I really love their faces! I definitely want to try to get my hands on a few of them.
I’m so glad I watch you, you show me that even if a doll is unconventional they can be enjoyed, I’m so glad I won’t be stuck overly attached to possibility or more human designs.
I'm loving Michelle Lucas's concept illustrations, I appreciate links to things like that so much. Those Steampunk concept dolls on her page are so interesting!
Love seeing these more video-essay type videos! It's tough for me to keep up with all the channels I'm subscribed to, but if more of these are coming, I'll set aside the time
Love your enthusiasm! I started to value La Dee Da dolls years later, because of their great designs. When they first came, I was disappointed that Liv was cancelled, and I kind of blamed La Dee Da dolls, which was silly, of course.
someone i knew IRL had a bunch of dolls including these. she had the peppermint and cotton candy ones in the beginning and i THINK the sunflower one you start showing at 9:22 (though i could have sworn her dress was more yellow). i don't know what other la dee das she had but ik she had those ones.
I still have my Garden Tea Party playset and one of my Tylies. I think I liked the playset more than the dolls, since I displayed my Ever After Highs with it. It was disappointing that we never got the friends dolls in looks that resembled their website character art, just Dee. That was my favorite version of Sloane and they never made it. The circus theme is great. I definitely would've had one if they released it.
not at all familiar with these dolls outside of your interest in them, but i'm definitely interested in picking up that fairytale sloan now! i collect red riding hood dolls :) very tempted to pick up a few of the other girls along with her!
It’s a classic character, nobody owns the rights to the hood. There was no reason not to and Cerise wasn’t a doll yet when this doll would have been in production
STOP IT!! I wanted these dolls so bad after I got the little diy booklet from somewhere, I still carry it around in my purse because of how cute it is 🥹

Ooo a new doll series on the channel. Looking at old doll lines what a great idea
Thank you!! I’ve been wanting to do these types of videos forever but I get anxious about it!!
Yay! I just thrifted Sweet Party Tylie in December, my first find of this line. Her hair is perfect and so soft and i love her ruffly dress.
Maybe Dee’s family does those carriage rides in Central Park!
Ohhh good point!!

What a fun doll line! I just love deep dives into dolls

Absolutely loved that video Brooke. These dolls are artsy and so pretty :) They remind me of Pullips ans Shibajukus
This is what we like to see. Thank you.
I remember the la dee da doll commercials! I think in the store too. It brings back memories, I loved 2012 😅

that was such a thorough and interesting video! great job!

I vividly remember seeing the commercial for the sweet party dolls and wanting them so bad.

happy to see „collection spotlight“ back
I adore La Dee Da. Only have the Frog princess and had no idea so many were unreleased or that they had pets. Thanks for such a great video❤
they're so cute& fun.. im excited to learn more about these dolls..
Great video! Never heard of these dolls but enjoyed learning about them. You put a lot of work into this so commenting and liking for the algorithm!

I had 2 of these dolls. I completely forgot about them
Hell yeah! I freaking loved these as a kid. I still think they’re infinitely charming… It was upsetting that they came and went so quickly.
Absolutely! I think it would be great so that more obscure doll lines get documented. Maybe moxie girls/teenz or liv dolls
Omg!!! I totally want a La Tee Da Horse!!!
I think my first la dee da doll was the Dee dots of style doll she is so prettyy!!
i had a couple of these as a kid and so did my friends!
Great video ❤ I love La Dee Da dolls ❤ I have one La Dee Da doll in my collection ❤ Love your channel ❤ 98K subscribers!!
Omg your Derpy shirt is so cute ❤
I faintly remember these dolls. I knew I wasn’t tripping!
These were introduced to me by you and I only have one so far. Which is why I tried to listen to this video instead of watching it 😂😂

The La Dee La dolls are so cute!!
LIV DOLLS ARE MY ACTUAL CHILDHOOD THE WIGS LOL OMG I ALWAYS NEEDED MY MOMS HELP 😭😭😭
I loooved them!! I had started collecting right around when they were leaving stores but played with them soooo much!! Such excellent dolls
I had the original Dee as well as the bee themed one, cyan’s watermelon outfit and Le bon. wish I still had them 😔
I had the garden party Sloan and Ceyenne dolls
I always confused La Dee Da dolls with Lalaloopsy dolls (-_-)
where is their reboot....
i knew about la dee da since they came out but they were never for me … however … 07:33 I ADORE HER, she is sooo good
i don‘t think having a script was doing you any favour, i enjoy you much more talking just freely
not at all familiar with these dolls outside of your interest in them, but i'm definitely interested in picking up that fairytale sloan now! i collect red riding hood dolls :) very tempted to pick up a few of the other girls along with her!
My sister had 2 la de da dolls
22:03 whyyyyy
Hey I wanted to ask if you have the frog princess doll? 😃
I think she didn't have a hood because of ever after high by 2013.
It’s a classic character, nobody owns the rights to the hood. There was no reason not to and Cerise wasn’t a doll yet when this doll would have been in production
🤗♥️🎄🎈🔥🧜🏻♀️🔥
Is it just me or does Spin Master cause their "girl targeted demographic" toys to purposely fail?
i think so, sadly....
Why don't you make Monster High video anymore?
Because they're smelly and ugly
don't remind me about the circus line not coming out it physically pains me actually
