I swear I saw you rolling around Arana hills, I was gonna yell out! Just a fan 😂. Would love to head out for a fish with you one day mate. Keep the vids up mate!
As I mentioned before, grab a 95DC in Lazer Ayu and you will cover even more ground due to longer cast, will lose less fish due to more and bigger trebles and will filter out small fish and get bigger ones interested instead. You’l love it 😉
I definitely would not say it weeds out little fish. 20cm n under flatties on a 95.. so yeah.. would say it catches all sizes. As im typing this, he just caught that tiddly flatty n the lure almost same size as it lol
Needle driver forceps (like they use in surgeries.. I’m a vet student so got these cheap as) or the Berkeley grips. I personally prefer the needle drivers you can get them cheap online too
@@anguskocks2360 I love shimano gear but personally haven’t run the zodias rods in the past. I’ve heard good things about them I cannot fault the dobyns though. I’ve almost replaced my entire rod range with the dobyns fury series and they are amazing. The 702sf is one of my more common rods that I use for bass, flathead, jacks etc. so a very good all rounder
@@anguskocks2360 if your keen on the zodias, check out the NS blackholes amped 2 rods. Graphite black with a full carbon wrap. Half the price of the zodias. Damn good value. I’ve just picked one up and loving it. I was set on the zodias as well then the blokes in the store said to check the amped 2 out and I couldn’t be happier.
I have seen a lot of people have a lot of success with this lure but I can't seem to get the hang of it. Sometimes I use this and I get no bites but I swap to a plastic and boom fish on. Do you constantly wind or twitch it?
Intermittent pauses I found were good this particular session. Two to three twitches of the rod, then pause for two seconds or so. When you went to twitch again they were generally on! Hope this helps
A drop off/let go is sooooooo much better than a break off 🤩🤩
Great video champion, love your landbased flathead sessions,
Nice mate. Give the blades a crack too - Pro Lure V42 in whitebait have been working well on the flatties for me lately.

Thanks mate appreciate it! Yea that’s my neck of the woods 😉 give us a yell next time hahah
Always keen for a fish
Give the 95 a go as well. I’ve pulled trevs, flatty, bream, long Tom and squire on mine
hey mate, would you mind shouting out where about this little fishing spot is. cheers legend

May have seen this also 😉😂

Near Brisbane :)
What sort of clamp are you using for extracting hooks? Thanks for the video.

Definitely roll the 95 mate
I have one in blue smelt that I have had for ages as my confidence lure also
Yea mate a few people have recommended I go up in size too
I like the idea of three trebles too
Hey mate great video, just wondering what are the specs of the rod and reel you are running.
Thanks mate!
Dobyns Fury 702sf 6-12lb
Shimano Stadic ci4+ 2500
10lb braid and 10lb leader
Hope that helps!
Cheers mate, got a ci4+ 2500 myself and stuck tossing up between a Dobyns or Zodias rod but I sure l’ll work it out.

Cheers mate, I do some more research and make my decision.

What tide and where were you fishing in this one
Just the local flats in Brisbane. End of the outgoing and start of the incoming
Sorry, what was that lure? Size? 75? Daiwa Double Clutch? Maybe next time, if you could put gear in the description, that would be a big help.
Daiwa Double Clutch 75 in the black and gold 👍 will do for next time I generally do put them in the description!
What pound braid r u using
10lb mainline and 10-12lb fluro!
Those ‘text me to claim your prize’ messages are a scam right? Just seems a tad…fishy??
Very fishy haha yea had a few in my latest videos. I generally just report them
