@@Errattic was your boot drive almost full in capacity by any chance? if it can't read it i think we can't do anything about that. this is the last resort, try going to safe mode this way ruclips.net/user/shortsIZKc8plksDA as soon as you enter safe mode just free some drive space. If you can't then reinstalling windows is your only choice at this point

So I just build my computer and my motherboard is Asrock B550 taichi razor edition. It was not a recognizing my MVME that’s why it didn’t boot to windows if you’re having same issues like that maybe that’s why. I took it to my local computer shop because I couldn’t fix it even though I selected to boot from that SSD I’m thinking because the drivers are not installed. Maybe that’s why it’s not recognizing. Hope that helps as much as it can. Unfortunately, I haven’t seen any videos that talk about drivers and importance of MVM slots in your motherboard because that also is an issue. And if anybody is wondering, yes, I have cleared my CMOS. Also Asrock you have disappointed me greatly. I’ve never had this issue with any other motherboard.
My computer did this every time I restarted all of a sudden, and I fixed it by running command prompt as administrator, then type sfc /scannow. It found corrupt files. Then I restarted the computer, and now when I restart, it always boots in Windows without having to exit the bios setup.

everything was good until the end. What do you press? Enter, Escape, Save and exit? you didnt say.
pretty sure after you make the change you can either click f10 or the x in the top right, then there will be a pop up showing you what changed and wether you would like to save the configuration and exit or don’t

Nope depends if you have GRUB for boot manager then it will open into GRUB if nothing is set then bios fir boot order.
I have the same bio as you, my 4 drives recognized by bios but no Master Windows in the boot selection. The drive were the Windows was installed is one of the four drives recognized. What cam i do???
can you remove all other drives and just try to boot with the drive with windows in it. at times faulty drive/s could also cause such issue
thanks for the answer. It appears the drive with windows 10 was corrupted. I've tried a newer drive with windows 11 and started flawlessly.
3 weeks ago while I was just using my PC, it suddenly crashed and the blue screen if death showed up and when I tried to reboot it, it redirected be to bios. I tried every method such as restarting the CMOS battery, cleaned the RAM and everything but nothing worked.
this basically means the boot drive is not detected. can you shut down the pc, reseat the sata cables plugged in your boot drive and remove all other drives at the moment then clear cmos. after 5 minutes plug back the cmos battery before powering your pc back on

@@madhavtiwari5618check your boot device and see if it shows up to bios if it doesnt then disconnect and reconnect it if that still doesn’t work it could be a bad cable or if you are using m.2 then bad slot or bad boot drive so that could have to be replaced aswell
@@DubyTalksTech I tried this method and it was sort of a temporary solution for me. After this got fixed I'm getting a BSOD error "WHEA UNCORRECTABLE ERROR" repeatedly. I think I might have to replace my Nvme or the sata cables of my hard drive

remove the other drive that has os in it, usually the motherboard selects the fastest drive with windows in it as primary boot

After my system freezed i restarted it and scanned it with antivirus now it goes straight to bios and my main nvme drive wont even show up on bios.
try to re-seat it, if still does not work i suggest have the m2 tested in a different working pc. if its still not working then the drive might already be faulty

Ok for me what happened was the hard drive got loose so just open up the screws and push it back in but unplug the power and turn the switch off and hold the button you would turn it on with and hold it for 60 seconds or you could seriously injure or kill yourself because of the high voltage of your pc
😆 i guess your not wearing any shoes while doing that, anyway never remove or add anything in your pc while it is pluggeed

So you're tellin me that the drive that Windows is on will never work when going into uefi since it just gets disabled to boot?...
In UEFI mode, the system typically looks for bootable drives that are formatted with a GUID Partition Table (GPT) and have the appropriate EFI System Partition (ESP) to locate the bootloader. If your Windows drive is configured correctly and is compatible with UEFI, it should work fine.

@@nethulvithanage894 prepare a fresh windows installer ruclips.net/video/FfPBOccfG70/видео.html then when the usb is ready, plug it on the motherboard usb port, boot pc and go to bios, look for the boot priority and select usb (windows installer) save settings and exit bios, this will load windows installer then select your ssd during the process and you'll be able to delete anything in that ssd, set no partition and proceed to windows installation

@@KaysanAli-z6r do you have a very old hdd connected in your pc, if you do remove it first and let's try to boot the system with just the C drive atm.
I have already removed all drives from my computer except nvme. On bios settings in boot option nvme slot is showing no dosk connected but yesterday it was showing and I changed it's order on 1st.
Computer turn on after few attempts now after showing bios settings.
Sometimes blue screen error appears or diagnosing problem/repair with black screen.
all i did was update it then it said i had to move RAM to the other slots and ever since i did that it keeps restarting into the BIOS menu

if you got two drives and both have os in it then that's normal. usually the motherboard will detect the drive that was first recognized as a boot drive. You can remove the hdd and leave your ssd, clear cmos ruclips.net/video/S9hyEPTFR10/видео.html then try to power the pc on

My new pc just reached me today I equiped my old 1To HDD it already has win 10 and all my files but the msi motherboard just reads it as if it's just existing there I can't even select it as a boot option can anyone help?
it is not really advisable to do that because it sometimes work if you are lucky but most of the time don't. Another reason is that you might have ssd or any faster drive installed in your pc. motherboard's always set the fastest drive as boot drive, if there is one then just remove it atm and boot the system. you can also try the link under this video's title

go to bios and load optimized defaults, if still does not work perhaps the boot drive is not detected, usually happens if the drive is almost full so just keep trying. if ever you got to desktop just free some drive space

opening a laptop is a bit complicated so if you can't do it yourself then the local shop help is your only choice

when I insert a nvme in my gigabyte bios it resets bios on every boot and boots twice to get in windows, if the bios was already on defaults as well. not sure how to fix this secure boot is disabled and tpm is disabled as well ?

Is it harmful for the pc to boot into the bios? Built my first pc with relatively high end parts a few weeks ago (7800x3d + 4080) and it keeps going to bios always. All I have to do however is press N at the bios menu and it goes into windows.
