When is filming in public episode 2 happening?! You’re very comfortable in front of the camera just talking when not being around others.
You’re spot on about why should people watch you. Once you have a more established channel and people are invested in you. Then people will watch you and you will have that built in community to care about what you’re doing. I’m coming up on 2,000 subs and I still don’t have that community feel yet. I would say I have a handful of subscribers that I regularly interact with for now.
The other big impact on channel growth is your youtube shorts. So easy to make and have had a lot of growth through them as well.

Ha, I picked that place because it looked cool and was pretty empty. A few workers looked at me funny, but I kept going, which is slight progress!
Interesting that you don’t feel like you get much engagement with that many subscribers. Your videos look great and are super interesting. Have you tried community posts at all? Are there comments that you could feature in a future video, maybe?

    Wait, what?
I can't believe that you have fewer than 500 subscribers, even after uploading more than 400 videos for over 12 years.
Everything from storytelling to audio to video quality looks good, but you're not getting the views and subs you deserve.
How are you still motivated to make videos?
why are you still so underrated?

Thanks for the kind words. The truth is I just enjoy making videos, and have always posted content to entertain my friends. Now that I’m more focused on helping others, I feel like I’m getting more views and subscribers than ever before. 🙌

Playing the piano on that countertop? Haha I am really glad I found your channel, you have good insights without the craziness and as I get older that’s what I am looking for with youtube.

I just recently subscribed to your channel. Mainly because I do find it so relatable. Being a content creator myself, I can certainly understand your viewpoint very well. At this stage of our lives it’s very difficult to perform this juggling act of responsibilities, and the need to do something really meaningful that we have complete sovereignty over. Keep up the good work!

Thanks, Greg! I really appreciate comments like this, as they show just how many of us there are trying to balance creative work with adult responsibilities.

Thank you! I just subscribed to your channel. I really like what you're doing. I had many spurts at vlogging, but my videos never caught. I am back at it again at 71 years old. Good luck…
