Thank you so much! I have a big maths test tommorow and I was crying as I was so confused, you really made it make sense in my head and I am so grateful ❤️
I’m 21 graduated high school with all As and Bs just to come into my adult life and the job I want permits calculators from being used. Go figure I got all my grades from using calculators my whole life. Really appreciate videos like this they help out a lot.
Helped me out big time bro, thank you!! College algebra was kicking my butt. then I started getting it. Now they said no calculators. I have not done long division of decimals by hand since grade school. But this was so helpful.
Thank you so much for all your videos. I just finished working with my daughter on her summer packet and we used your videos all summer long. Your explanations are so simple that it really took the stress out of reteaching skills. Thanks again!!!
Thankyou so much. I am studying in 9th grade, I learned this method in 5th grade but I have now forgotten. I saw this video while solving a problem in physics. So this video was very helpful.
Thanks a lot Mr. J, I couldn't have worked this out without your channel, you break it down very easily for me to understand and I am only in Year 6! Thanks a lot!😀
Thank u soo much for the video .even my teacher didn't explain me this better than you. I was soo confused in math but this video helped me do my math practise as I had my final math exam tomorrow. love the video ♡♡♡
Thank you Mr. J this helped me out a lot. I apreciate the video, but I have a question. Can you please do an example of dividing a four digit number with a one digit number. But can the smaller number go first like how you did with this video. Thanks. Bye bye!
Thank you so much for making it clear I have a math quiz bee next week and I needed to know how to divide smaller numbers by larger numbers to get a percentage of something so thank you❤
I am in class 11 th prepareing for IIT JEE .. now i learnt this concept this thing was very awkward and i felt very guilty. But guyz remember one thing never feel shy to learn something new which is basis guiltyness is temporary but concept is for permanent
More EASY it is if you just add zero's after the smaller number (for example 12/50 we ad one zero like this 120/50 because this is enough for the smaller number to become larger than the original larger number, the result here is 2.4 so we move the digit to right one time becai=use we added one zero and the result is 0.24). Was it understandable the way I wrote it :)
Hi Mr.J, I loved your explanation, but I think there are 2 steps that are unnecessary. When you add that decimal point after the divisor, you didn't need to do that. You could just put a 0 after. Thanks for the explanation though.
I was studying for my state test and my teacher said that we had to so this and as soon as I got home I broke down crying because I could not understand it. Once I watched this video I got the hang of it and aced my test!!! Thank you very much!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤
Ty i have a University entery test and calculator is not allowed for solution as a man who is using calculator for 5 years for even simple calculation this video was really helpful tysm❤️
Thank you so much❤, how ever i dont understand how in some equations, the answer would have a whole as 1,2 or 3, or so on, sorry, im nad at dividing, but your explanation made it far easier, im subscribing!
