Has anyone else's gardening skills improved during this quarantine like mine have? I planted myself on the sofa at the beginning of April and I've grown bigger ever since

As a dad who has his own small business, designed in part to be here for my kids and in part to nurture my Aussie wife's career, I just wanted to congratulate you on your million subs! Our little family built our first three raised beds this year and we often watch your vids together. My wife feels like it's a taste of home! God bless you and yours!
I am a disabled dad and a stay at home dad too. To make things work I had to prioritize what was needed over what was wanted. Gardening helped. It put food on the table because we raise most of our food so almost no grocery bill which helped. I then discovered I could produce way more than we needed so I got into farmers markets. Now I could have tried to go back into the work force in a limited capacity but honestly I make more money from my garden. And I am helping to feed my community which helped with better social interactions and depression. Gardening literally saved my life and helped my family. Our harvest was more than just food it was freedom and happiness and a sense of self worth. Talk about a bumper crop.

I started changing the course of my life since I first started watching your videos. I love the enthusiasm and energy you put into your videos. It really shows how much you love doing so. I really like how that turned out! And congrats on the 1M! One way I could see improving it is if you zip tie the base of the pool to the side of the kennel and take a string with a T shaped knob (like the one you use to start a pull motor) and put the T through the fence. When you need to empty the pool, just pull the string towards you and it'll stand up and dump the water.

I started watching you years ago because I wanted to have a mini farm. Things happened to keep us from retiring. I took a few months to try to get the old home place in better shape when my husband finally retired. I loved the garden shows and was interested in the poultry videos. In 2018 we finally moved back just before my husband lost his fight with cancer. It took a bit to finally work on my homestead dream on the one acre we have here. Gardening (still rewatch your videos), chicken and soon to have ducks. I am once again watching the quail videos too - for next year. Thank you, thank you for all your tips and advice for they help me a lot. Keep up the good work.

You've inspired me to move out of a tiny house in my moms back yard into a large home on 1.6 acres. I'm so blessed to have videos like these to give me ideas here on the mini farm. I really like how that turned out! And congrats on the 1M! One way I could see improving it is if you zip tie the base of the pool to the side of the kennel and take a string with a T shaped knob (like the one you use to start a pull motor) and put the T through the fence. When you need to empty the pool, just pull the string towards you and it'll stand up and dump the water.
Love the portable, retractable jacks on the tractor ... seen hundreds of bird tractors and never saw this idea! Nicely done. Keep up the great videos. You have another subscriber. Glad to be here.

"Well" he said, "it's a bit embarrassing, but every morning I get up and come outside in just my robe and flash my tomatoes. Then the tomatoes blush and turn redder! You should try it sometime!"
The woman, somewhat embarrassed, told the man that her tomatoes weren't doing very well so she should try it.
A few weeks later, the man sees the woman walking down the street.
"Excuse me, miss" he said, "Did you try my technique?"
"I did" she replied
"Well, how did it work?"
Disgruntled she replied "Absolutely NO change in my tomatoes!"

Just found this channel. First off, thanks. I’ll be sure to like everything. These are some amazing and informative videos. Wow.
I started watching you years ago because I wanted to have a mini farm. Things happened to keep us from retiring. I took a few months to try to get the old home place in better shape when my husband finally retired. I loved the garden shows and was interested in the poultry videos. In 2018 we finally moved back just before my husband lost his fight with cancer. It took a bit to finally work on my homestead dream on the one acre we have here. Gardening (still rewatch your videos), chicken and soon to have ducks. I am once again watching the quail videos too - for next year. Thank you, thank you for all your tips and advice for they help me a lot. Keep up the good work.

My Pa is sitting next to me watching this and said if I told a joke on him he was writing me outta his will. HAHA I've watched your videos for a very long time now and I love them. You've inspired me to move out of a tiny house in my moms back yard into a large home on 1.6 acres. I'm so blessed to have videos like these to give me ideas here on the mini farm. I'm starting from scratch when it comes to the garden and the soil. It's the worst soil around except slate. You have a beautiful and always remember where you started from. May God Bless y'all!!!
