Great adivce! Her success just seems like talent combined with a series of smart choices from her parents, great coaches, and her own intuition. Mirrors everything I know from teaching tennis and my own mediocre but improving golf: we do better when we make it fun and relaxed.

I saw that Nelly Korda had to withdraw from the 2020 KPMG WOMEN'S PGA CHAMPIONSHIP because of a back injury. A 22 year old Lady with a Back injury? So on a hunch I went looking for evidence that she's lifting weights. And I found it at mark 7:09. I'd like to say that I'm smart but this one was easy. When will the Professional Golf world learn? Lifting weights will only lead to injury. Some people might get away with it. But Not Nelly. It got the Best of Her.

That all depends on how much weight your lifting and are you doing the right warm up drills before you go heavier.

@@paultweedley2026 That advice might work for some people. Not for Nelly though. Weight lifting got the best of her and she missed out on playing in a Major as a result.

@@radar0412 It's proven weight lifting strengthens muscles and improves durability. Back injury's like Nelly and Tiger had which are directly linked to golf is due to a fault of the swing .

@@dalon6900 There's nothing wrong with Tiger's or Nelly's swing. Your comment is invalid.

@@radar0412 No your comment is now invalid, I love Nelly's swing but you must live under a rock if you don't know about Tiger's swing faults in the early 2000's. His lack of hip activation strained on his back and lead to his lengthy back issues towards the early 2010's. This sounds harsh but your comment shows you lack knowledge on the sport.
