This route was a special one. More of an exploratory adventure than just simply an enduro route. It seemed like there was something new around every corner. The trail was also very challenging in places and ever-changing too.
Other than it killing my e-bike, it was absolutely amazing!

Nice to see that horse has calmed down. I did this route 4 years ago and it tried to attack me. There was no one around and I was very scared.

This was a great adventure ride as you say. Those are nice for a change. After three of these videos I have to get more serious about my planning to get to Spain. I've got an Orbea Wild which is based near where you are, I thought I could fly without the battery in it and buy one when I get there! Keep up the awesome road trip. I'm on to the next video.

I’ve just decided to sideline the e-bike till I get back home. I’m in Spain to ride my bike and make videos, not chase bike shops etc to get one fixed.
Now that is proper mountain biking, epic 🤙

@@McTrailRider Hey bro. A brain injury that I had many years ago. That came back to haunt me because I was drinking like a fool. Pretty intense shit. Not exactly back on track. But getting there. Your videos really are awesome for me to watch. My balance is really good. So I can really imagine im you. going down these hills sometimes. Keep up the aweseome work.

Great Video, thankfully you got up the climb before the EEEb did a wobbly. Trails looked steep in sections and quiet technical.. them rocks kept me leaning out the way. Keep the great content coming.
True. Of all the places the e-bike could have failed, I’m glad it was nearer the end than the start😜
Awesome video, thanks! The riding looks incredible. Sorry about the new e-bike issue, while it’s a 1st world problem you’ve spent money on it and you expect it to last longer than a few weeks. QC and reliability seems to be a big issue with e-bikes sadly.

All the motor manufacturers seem to have their problems with reliability.
What a trail. My kind of stuff. You defo don’t get much luck with the ebikes. I’ve had zero issues with Bosch on my bike (2 years of use) but everything else seems to wear out very quickly. Keep enjoying Spain. Your not missing much back here. Gone from snow to storms.
I’m pretty surprised at the motor failure tbh, the Bosch is meant to be the “best” motor to go for.

That looks a cracking trail 👊 hope yer ebike get resolved soon! If not get yer backside on a Levo SL gen 1 (much cheapness now) I had hassle free for 2.5 years riding in all weather in Scotland, mountains like yerself then all went south but Specialized replaced cable harness/loom, motor & battery under warranty & zero hassle for past year!
Is a great bike, I’ve tried one before and really enjoyed it. I’ve got three bike though, so I’d prefer a full power e-bike.
I’m confident that I’ll get my bike sorted easy enough, once I’m back home👍

A proper good trail that one. Can't beat the Pyranees. That's crazy unlucky with your ebike experiences man...proper annoying. But, keep on making us all jealous with these great videos. 🤘 Hope you get your Bosch sorted 🙏

Any Bosch service centre will be able to look at the motor for you. You don’t necessarily need to use Mondraker.

What are you using to navigate as you seem to know exactly which path to take without looking at a map .so it seems.
I’m using a pre loaded GPX on my watch for navigation. I got the GPX from the ZTrails app.

Great stuff, shame about the bike, I'm down near Alicante for the winter, some great trails down here too (as you know!).

Question for you Andrew do you climb in turbo a lot or used turbo..
Very rarely used turbo tbh. Tour+ for first road climbs and Emtb mode for trail climbing as a general rule for me.
@@McTrailRider we found guys that used turbo a bit motor fail..we have 5 bosch motors in group no fails in three years..and we hit them hard..single mainly..so you are unlucky

@@jasondavies2593 I totally understand what you’re saying, that one of the reasons I don’t used turbo much.
I’d say I’m very unlucky, the bike has done 7 or 8 rides. I wouldn’t expect it to fail at this point, even if I was in turbo all the time.

You truly aren’t same with any of the brands tbh. 400 miles, or an 800 mile round trip, on top of the 1400 miles I am away from home already!

I’ve never tried the Yamaha’s, but Yamaha generally makes good, reliable products 👍
Ugh, e bike motors are so frustratingly shit, these motor manufacturers have alot to answer for with their lack of spares to repair them, i wonder how many of these end uo straight in the dump every year!!! Great video though
I can’t speak for the Bosch, but the Shimano needed a motor replacement each time, because of a sensor. That’s madness, and wasteful in my eyes.
