Every once in a while we had to cover the Eagles at Veterans Stadium. And who better to go with than Channel 10's Pat Battle.
I had to wash my winter jacket and clothes 8 times with extra soap to get the beer and fan urine out.... Phun times with Filly Phans!
I guess that security guard in the beginning did such a good job they asked him if he wanted to coach the Philadelphia Eagles for 12 seasons

Our fans are tame compared to European soccer club fans who literally have organized fights between club fan firms.

But I do understand what you're saying I was at this game and I would say 75% of the lower level of Eagles fans were total classless animals. I've been to Dallas 7 times for Eagles Cowboys games and every time I went there wearing my Eagles gear , they have treated me with nothing but class they teased me sure , but they didn't throw beer on me. I didn't get verbally or physically abused. it was all in fun but it's not like that when Dallas fans come to Philly
