It became a Zombified Zionist Party... ... True Labour would Never support war crimes and genocide... I just hope parties like the Greens have the good sense to proscribe Zionism... else they will go the same way...
For "political nerds" these youngsters are remarkably "unpolitical" in their comments. They are remarkably centrist in what they say - which is the default position for the basically apolitical or closet supporters of the status quo. This does not augur well for the future, although it will cheer up Labour Together and Progressive Britain.
To see young people (maybe 20-23 yo?) wearing ANY lanyard is so radical. Hardly a hint of Northern accent to be heard, too, in your vox pop. These young people have only their disillusionment to look forward too. May it happen heavily and soon.
Not just young people were inspired old ones too. As for me im sorry as i voted for the sharpe dressed man. Lammy speech was laughable and embarrassing. Im totally uninspired my labour.
I lost all respect for the Labour Party after the second leadership election of Corbyn. It was so obvious that they were trying to oust him from the outset and the contempt they have for the electorate is still plain to see.
@mikecook1537 Ha ha! So did Kinnock: nobody chucked him out of the Labour Party! 2017 was a pretty near win though.. If only the right-wingers at Southside had been as committed to a Labour win then, as were the grassroots! But they didn't want to fund fighting marginals, only supporting their mates, so...
The young lady saying "I don't wish to say on interview" in response to a question about the whip being removed from dissenters. It'd be hard to think of a more informative answer.
Did he? Im pretty sure he didn't. Blair was far more right-wing and business friendly. 40% tax for higher eaners, 17.5% VAT, 40% debt to GDP. I genuinely liked Corbyn. He earned all sides of the political spectrum respect znd he certainly earned his spot in our system and country.
These are the future face of the fash - shapeshifting into whichever form preserves their perceived elevated spot on the hierarchy, and ultimately participating in convincing less articulate individuals with their privileged rhetorical powers and the ostensible legitimacy that projects.
Politics has now become a solely middle class (and mostly affluent middle class) occupation. Emerging from any other part of the population will cause you to be viewed with suspicion by media.
Young people round here don’t sound like these posh types. If they’re attracted by Starmer, that’s more confirmation I was right to leave the Labour Party. It has completely lost its way. Who goes to a Labour Party Conference at that age in a suit and tie!
The central party adminstration such as membership and discipline was in the hands of the neo-liberal right. They used the tools at their disposal to sabotage the 2017 general election. This wasn't a few disgruntled employees, this was centrally managed and coordinated, hardly the same as harsh words from a support group
They wouldn't look out of place at a tory conference-oh wait! They were,a tory red one.
Exactly what I was thinking
Why is that a problem?
@@mikecook1537Because all Tories are tw@s.
Ah, the Gaza stuff. A very Starmeroid way to describe genocide.
Reminded me of Alan Partridge's "The 911 debacle".
RIP the Labour Party 😢

That first guy giving a response like he's been psychologically conditioned to say it.
We don’t want fickle gaslighter people involved in politics it’s weird they’re exactly like young tories but think they aren’t
That's right hannah. Young red Tories. 😊😊😊😊
OMG these people are just young Conservative,s 🥴☮️✊️
The Gaza "stuff"? Is he talking about the... Genocide?
😭😭😭

whilst some young people are very switched on, many are (not surprisingly) daft as f@ck. No votes for the under 35s!!!
💯
rip the true the labour party under corbyn.
They look and sound just like young Tories.

What working class twenty-something says 'smashing' in THAT context? o_O
Bit hypocritical to say we should support Starmer when they all undermined Corbyn.
Not just young people were inspired old ones too. As for me im sorry as i voted for the sharpe dressed man. Lammy speech was laughable and embarrassing.
Im totally uninspired my labour.
Me bloomin' too!
They said it. Labour is now the natural home for Young Conservatives. Which is precisely why I'm finished ith it.
same i defected to the green party as a voter from labour sorry tory lite.

Young Starmerites = Young Tories.
(Inspiring, my ass!)
The fact there are even Starmerites has sent my sides into orbit 😂😂
These people are bloody Tories!!
They watch BBC . Its not their fault
Not fit to tie Jeremy's shoes.
Who is Jeremy?

Yup, what sort of a Party is it when members are frightened to express an opinion???
They was clueless middle class and a few Careerists thrown in for good measure
are they young tories?
Young Tories
Starmer is a professional liar
first word to come to mind about starmer, "liar"
First word to come to mind about Jeremy, ''useless''...
Spot on!
These young people interviewed would fit more in a fascist party.
Snobby kids from well off families who hasn't been alive for 5 minutes. They'll learn.
they wont learn because learning involves conceding power and privilege
Money eyes from most of them.
Yep...a bit like Jeremy's son...

Hot, steamy, Neolib on Neolib action. 😶🌫️

The vibes generation. Not a single, savvy insight or accurate analysis.

It was worth it for the comedy zone at 15:13. 🤣
less diversity than ever
As bad as Starmer is, he is still a better option than Corbyn, and didn’t momentum do exactly the same thing with people who didn’t agree with Corbyn!
A 'better option' for who exactly?
