Nice video Mark. Very informative! As a novice I would like to see some more tips on the grill set up. Vent settings etc. BUT....KEEP GRILLING AND I'LL KEEP WATCHING!
I have a Weber Poultry Roaster too, it's the best ! One Christmas year, I sent everyone I know a Weber Deluxe Poultry Roaster. Its Awesome! Never leave home with out it - when camping!
Muchas gracias por ese vídeo, buenas explicaciones y música. Saludos de un novato en Chile. Thanks a lot for this video, good explains and music. Best wished from a chilean novice.
Good video. First Beer Can Chicken video with the Weber Cast Cooker. I love them, they collect all the grease. The plug is very important as it keeps the steam in. Weber recommends using vegetable oil or other oil to keep it from getting stuck. Thanks, I Hope To See More Of Your Vids, Chuck.
Great to hear. Now that your first one is under your belt, keep on making them, there's a lot of different things you can do with it. Thanks for the kind words.
It’s awesome to see how many people enjoy Yuengling! I remember getting it over 20 years ago and no one really knew what it was. It was inexpensive and tasted amazing. Now it’s very popular and I am sure it’s being sold outside of the state of Pennsylvania. By the way your chicken looked awesome!
Thanks. We have been able to get Yuengling in Ohio for a few years now, but I would make the run for the boarder (5 minutes away) to get a few cases. It's been my favorite for a long time.
I'm sure it'd work just as good on your Spirit 210. Just like making Beer Bread. I like it a lot more than the wire ones. All the JuJu stays in the roaster and not all over the inside of the grill.
@@PapaMark that was some damn good chicken! The wife liked it so much she's talking about needing to buying more beer. Haha...she probably means for the chicken.
I'm so glad it turned out well for you. If the wife says get more beer you get more beer. Don't ever ask what it's for just make sure you get enough to do the job. LOL. Have a great day.
That’s a good looking bird! Hey I’m curious about your side cart. What is it and where did you get it? Looks like it might be a tool cart. Keep cooking!
Thanks. The side cart came from Sam's Club about 10 years ago. It's like a tool cart, but has a wood top. It comes in very handy for sure. Thanks again for watching my videos.
Once I have the coals lit I close the bottom vent to about a quarter open, and I usually keep the top vent all the way open. After about an hour you may need to add a few (maybe 12) unlit coals to both sides. I use the Weber chimney starter and heap it over the top. I hope this helps.

For now on I will include where I have the vents set, and anything else I do that is out of the norm. Thanks for the input and for watching.

I've used it several times now, and it's still great. Enjoy.

Thank you for watching.
Looking good, Yummy
Thanks. I liked that rub. It added a lot of flavor.
First time I'm gonna tackle beer can chicken. This was great advice. Hails from socal.
Good luck. I'm sure it won't be the last time you make it.
That looked great! Maybe I’ll get one of those.

How do you have your thermometer mounted? Is it a long stem or short
It's a long stem. That is the way the lid came.
That's just flat out cool as H!!!

I’m very happy with that setup. Much more stable than those 3 footed ones.
@@markeisenbraun6978 I know what you mean. That bugger isn't going anywhere once it's in place!
Just doing maintenance on my sight. I found that I replied to this from my other site.
Did the same to day. Came out perfect😎🍗🍗
Outstanding!!! I'm glad it worked out for you. Thanks for the feedback.
Thanks...I'm doing it today.
Thanks for watching. Let me know how it comes out.

If I have a choice it's going to be Yuengling every time. Thanks for watching.

Not going to eat the skin? That’s the best part lol
LOL. I was trying to be a little healthy.
@@PapaMark haha good on yah mate I can’t resist that easily lol
LOL. Thanks for watching.
what are the positions for the vents please. I set mine all open and after a while lose heat. thank you

Where did you get the grill table?
I got that as Sam's Club about fifteen years ago for about $120.00 US. I absolutely love it.
Did all the beer evaporated out of the can using the indirect heat method…
No, not at all. Even with the small amount of beer that goes in the Weber chicken holder there was still a lot of beer left over at the end.
is it made of metal or plastic?
It's made of metal. I think the black cap for the chicken's neck is porcelain coated metal too.
