That Magnus and Jorg bromance at the beginning had me laughing and grinning so much XD
I really like the concept of redpoint competitions as opposed to onsight comps. I feel like you get to see another side of the athlete when it is a move that they have rehearsed many times, but have to perform under pressure. You get to see their true technique/style as opposed to repeatedly just hucking and praying. Great stuff as always!
What does red point mean
Agreed! Cool to see them hang out and chat about it too.
Redpointing is when you're lead climbing a route and you have practiced it beforehand at least once. Basically you get to try all the moves a few days before the actual competition. During the competition, as opposed to a flash or onsight attempt, you get a "redpoint" attempt to get as far as you can on the route.
This route has Sharma and Ondra written all over it.

yeah, even if it's an easy section, seeing these top climbers with their unique styles climbing easy sections can be very cool, seeing their fluid and precise climbing

Ondra's high point is in one go. Magnus fell and rested and skipped some sections in this (because he's projecting)

i think he locked off his right arm pretty badly so, that it looked like that
Max Vetterer I think it was short rope. Listen to the draws. A lock off doesn't make the draws move lol.
+Max Vetterer I think no matter how strong u are able to lock off u can't stop your swing that abruptly. And the rope and draws both go tight

Alex is hurt at the moment so it's hard to say. Ondra will be here in April from what I've heard.
