- finally got a zoom mic, and after a few attempts at recording this, where OBS messed up the audio, I finally just cut the computers out, and recorded the video on my phone, and audio on the zoom, and put them together after!

I was only introduced to Plinky a couple of days ago. Some how it went under my radar 😳but looked into it, liked what I saw and registered my interest on Thonk yesterday expecting it to be weeks/months until it would be ready for purchase. But surprise! I received an email saying it's available. I've never bought something so quickly. This looks throughly amazing and intriguing. Cant wait 🥰

It's amazing, but then, it's more amazing, .. but then after a while, it's super more amazing, and then wow.. it's much more amazing.. and then you record a sample and the waveform is displayed thru from panel leds .. isn't it amazing ? ... Crazy sir ! The interface in itself is pure dop'Art !

So happy when Schneidersladen emailed me that they had one Plinky this spring. Bought it at once. Plinky is absolutely my favorite synth/module. I really hope they will be produced soon again as everyone into synthesizer should own one. Then I must buy another one! Loooots of synth for the money! Have the problem with components been solved?

At around 20:35 you play some really nice grains/sample on the grid in the style of the new Tempera instrument - so cool! Any chance of adding a feature to add latching 'playheads' or 'emitters' on the grid, that move on the X and Y based on LFOs or CV input etc? That would save my wallet about $1,000 CAD 😄

great synth! i'm wondering: if mounted in eurorack, how can i access the midi-usb port?? it looks like it'd be just behind the eurorack rail? a midi input on the front would be really cool. i think i'd ordered one already. but this tiny problem makes worry a bit..

Hello Alex! I call you from Barcelona...Recently I bought a Plinky Plus expander on Reverb, from someone I have all my trust in, but I find an issue when I turn on my Eurorack Go case with both units perfectly connected (The 16-16 connector coming from Plinky to expander and Plinky to Eurorack) The Oled screen shows noisy, no way to read any info and the expander working perfectly...besides that Plinky seems to work fine also, but noisy screen...
He told me to try to turn on only the Plinky, then after a few seconds, to plug the expander and...Yes, it works fine! but...I can't do it every time I turn on my system so...A
After he sent me a second expander, thinking the problem may be the expander, unfortunately, I have the same problem...Both expanders react well when I turn the A/B buttons and send 2 LFO to X/Y, both expanders respond perfectly, so We think the problem must be Plinky.
If I connect the Plinky Plus expander with USB power instead of Eurorack, not a problem at all...I tried to replace the 16-16 connector from Plinky to expander but nothing...
Do you know how could I fix it before returning the units back?? It seems something really weird and stupid but...Thank you in advance, Alex! I love Plinky and after so long, I don't want to lose mine!
What is the resolution of the oled screen?
Is it possible to sample a drum loop and then mangle it somehow with the parameters?
Could I play on Plinky midi keyboard? Has it sone midi in ports or cv? Thank you
