Wouldn’t forget it for the world! I don’t know about any statistics but considering the balanced stats of the team, I kind of feel Harimau is a relatively popular pick for many different game modes.
I personally love the shapes of Auricom and Goteki 45. They are very reminiscent of their designs in Wip3out and they bring me waves of nostalgia when I take a glance at them. In other words I have copious amounts of nostalgia bias towards them...
Goteki has one of my most favourite designs in the series. They are meant to be bulky. Mechanical beasts, with no deroutes taken, the only way is through and pray you are not crossing the path of the pilot of one.
I guess I am, kind of weird right? :) Much content about anti gravity racing is centered around time trials, world records and so on so I'm glad I can provide an approach that maybe hasn't been explored that much. Thank you for your comment!
I'm an Icaras main, and I gotta say you ranked our ship too high. I'll get fired for sayin' this, but Assegai are the best looking imo. You obviously prefer realism, and I prefer *a e s t h e t i c s*.
I see where you’re coming from but there’s just something about about the modified classic look about the HD Icaras ship that really speak to me . Assegai looks great but slightly too fragile. Thank you for your comment, I knew people wouldn’t agree with me 100% :D
I totally respect that! I do something similar since I do watch the stats but I refuse to race with a ship that I don’t like the look of, even if I like the stats.
I grew up with WIpeout 64, and it was one of my favorite games on the system. I really loved the design of the Auricom in that game, with the wedge shape and big spoiler, it really stood out from the other ships. I wish we got to see an updated version of that design in HD!
I am a Feisar lover. But Harimau looks better in every aspect. And the best thing, both are quite similar in handling. So I can enjoy both without losing the fun of my ship playstyle. 😊 Harimau has this classic race car feeling.
It's fun that most people seem to agree that Harimau deserves the number 1 spot :) But the Feisar HD ship really has the very classic Wipeout look as well! I also like a high handling stat so both teams feels great to play with but in my experience, Feisar feels a tad too slow on the higher difficulties.
@@AGRacingCentral Feisar is like a Rally Car, it don't need high speed. What it need is high grip and acceleration :D But yeah, when you master Icaras, it is unbeatable.

Great picks! They did a really great job overall with the liveries in this games since they are very detailed and reminiscent of those we find on real racing vehicles.
I wish they would allow us to use the concept ship designs that they had in wipeout pulse, mainly because the concept ship for mirage looked miles better than the base ship. I’ll admit it looked a little similar to ag systems and harimau, but the main difference being that the engine was separated from the main fuselage and connected to it by two columns. I’d much rather be the pilot of that ship than the current mirage design, cause in all honesty, you probably wouldn’t even be able to see out of jt
Yes, the Mirage ship is not a looker. Adding skins derived from concept art would have been a great thing to add to the game! We can only hope that they do it in a potential sequel...
That is a great question that I'm sure many players have thought about. In the Wipeout games the main stats are presented when you select your ship. However, RUclipsr Snakenator has made a spreadsheets where he summarized all the ships "hidden stats". In short, there's not a lot of them but when it comes to Assegai And Harimau that appear to have the same handling, Harimau actually has more "ground grip" meaning that Assegai will probably drift slightly more in the corners. Which one is the better ship probably comes down to personal preference.

Yes, making these types of videos is definitely slightly risky. I do however love the fact that it's sort of unanimous that everybody thinks that Mirage HD is the ugliest ship in the game :)
It seems you don't like two-pronged ships, I personally dislike tree-pronged ships. I agree with you that the Harimau looks good and the Mirage looks bad, but I disagree with pretty much everything else lol.
That's the beauty of multiple ships I guess, something for every taste :) I do like some of the two pronged ships, like Tigron for example. But Mirage and Auricom, not so much :)
