I think having a good integration of NIO phone with Onvo would be great, it might seem odd but for the Onvo owners they might feel part of a luxury brand family and given L60 is mass market that could help boost NIO phone sales.
Tell the management to expand to South East Asia, Australia... expanding to Europe, the timing was bad. Nio and Onvo should be here in South East Asia and Australia now to capitalise on the boom of EV. Unlike Europe, there are people who are loyal to their own European brand. There is none in SEA and Australia. Also, looking at the sales numbers, the Chinese EVs are thriving here.
Eric - I need some help with locating a luxury hotel in Shanghai near Nio House for a large group of Nio investors to visit Hefei Neo Park also. We are planning to rent Nio drivers to take us there if possible. How can I reach you in PM?
Nice review.. thanks.. as a patient, disapointed Investor, I see that this is a great step.. and the US old boy Network shorting the stock is getting more than a black eye... as you say.. much competition, so focus on execution is key.. o more bright ideas about phones, Energy balance.. maybe in the Backgroud become the Ai / NVDIA in China.. but not before its ready.. no more hype but cant deliver.. business focus.. Grasshopper
Yes, but Xpeng doesn't have the charging infrastructure or battery swapping stations on the scale of NIO. Even with solid-state batteries and without problems of degradation the problem of supplying energy to the millions of electric vehicles in the future will arise and it will no longer be possible to charge at home all the time as it is now. Not to mention there will be no way to charge EVs for people living in apartments.
The EU just settled the tariffs with China and in the agreement the Chinese cars cannot be sold at a price below a certain threshold that is competitive with the EU automaker's oem brands so you might not see a big difference in prices anymore!
that's true, a bit long... but more interesting for the viewer imo than NIO IN for example, and definitely more fun in person. But in general all these different press conferences should be a bit shorter, not just NIO...but when you spend a bunch of money renting a giant hall you might as well make the time worth the money I guess.
Hey Eric, thank you for sharing your opinion about Onvo first new model. One topic has not been covered by anyone: The aftermaths of the recent earthquake(s) in Hefei on Nio's factories. Have you noticed any information in this regard that is worth mentioning ? Thanks for your valuable work.
I was there during the quake and it was tiny, doubt there was any effect. I asked NIO pr person (not a person on the factory side of things obviously) and she said they didn’t even feel it out there…
I just comeback from China, and i was able to see Onvo L60 and I was surprised how big it is much bigger that i was expecting.
Your dry sense of humor is definitely entertaining ... thanks Eric. Good contents
ONVO is a MASSIVE hit, I am glad it's finally here. I look forward to deliveries and wish NIO was available in Canada!
I have 9.000 shares average 5.73, I will keep to sell above $100 each, I can wait 10 years
3 years it'll be 100...I have analysed the production capability and power expansion. Easy 100 bucks in 3 years. Manifest it and it'll happen.
@@lloydftz65 only the issue it is a Chinese stocks and US don't like chinesa stock better than US ( Tesla) , I will not sell until go 100

This also competes with the Xpeng G6 so it has stiff competition from another Chinese automaker!

PLEASE, where is the NIO Podcast 'Blue Sky Coming'!?
@@Eric_Garrison Hey guys! NIce videos! Can you guys explain how the recent Chinese financial stimulus is or will help the consumer spending?
Hopefully soon Charles, we’ve all been so busy lately though…
Is Onvo comparable with Nio?
Yummy for my tummy 😂😂😂 ok MMM
lol
25k shares in Nio???? Wow..
I was joking 🙃
Onvo will sell well in Europe because theirs a way bigger market for cheaper cars
The EU just settled the tariffs with China and in the agreement the Chinese cars cannot be sold at a price below a certain threshold that is competitive with the EU automaker's oem brands so you might not see a big difference in prices anymore!
Nio stock also seems to have blue sky ahead of it it's just starting to rise from the bottom
这车的竞争对手就多了,除了Y还有7X,还有R7.
Blue Sky Coming
The L60 presentation was good but was too long, 2 hours that is a lot for a single product

@@Eric_Garrison I agree for in person audience maybe they should be workshops after the keynote or other brand related activities
Money losing Eric!! Yummy for my tummy!! 😂
If you have 25,000 shares I need to buy more, I’ve only got a little more than 5000
😅I don’t
@@Eric_GarrisonI heard you said 25k too😂
What is your average cost for those 5000 plus shares??
