Updated. Ordered the new pins and replaced the old with the new. The fit of the new pins wasn’t as tight as I would’ve liked. Unfortunately I haven’t had much time to really put some rounds down range, I’ve only put about 60-90 rounds on the new pins and so far they are holding up. I know it’s not a long rounds count but at least they have surpassed the original pins failure count which was about 30-50 rounds.
yep. I have one. It completely fixes the issue. The paddles are a smidge shorter too, but still long enough to do anything you want without snagging. @@cottleful
So, I got my coiled roll pins delivered, dug out my silencerco charging handles that i had thrown into a box and all but forgotten about, but upon further inspection they both already have coiled roll pins installed, not slotted! And one of them had failed in less than 100 rounds and the other had pins visibly backing out! with the coiled pins already installed! So I just put new coiled roll pins in them and I will be taking them out to the range the next time i go to see if they hold up. I dont have much faith because the pins are the same size, only the new ones are stainless and the oem ones are black. so wish me luck i guess. i had already opened 2 customer service inquiries a few months apart with silencerco and they did not get back to me on either. i wasnt rude with them or anything. i have high hopes these will work but im kind of a cynical bastard and assume the worst. Have you ever heard of the coiled pins backing out as well?
Have 3 and they all failed in less 100rds. Went back to Geissele charging handle. Gonna try this for the fix.
Thank you sir. 👍
I added the company and part number for the coiled spring pin into the description box.
Thank you.

When they do everyone is SAD...... 😪
Yep pins came out on both sides the first time I used it sent it back and the new one doesn’t use pins it’s screwed in
Mine just came out today, did you send it back to the manufacturer or the dealer?
Manufacturer they sent me the new version
The newest ones have Allen head screws on the bottom and no pin exposed up top.
Correct. It’s their third rendition.
@@seanmtactical6069 any experience with the newest rendition? Sounds like it should correct the issue
