Lexus GX 550 Overtrail Off-Roading and Driving Through Water and Trails

2024 Lexus GX 550 Overtrail and Overtrail+ driving threw off-road trails at Autobahn Country Club during a private Lexus event. These are prototype vehicles driven on a closed course. Incognito and Caviar are Overtrail+, Nori Green and Atomic Silver are Overtrail.

On this ground up design, a shorter front overhang and higher approach angle would’ve been much better to suite all its 4x4 off-road tech.
Maybe in another 20yrs when Toyota redesigns its off-road lineup, they might reconsider their new design approach of form over function.
Yet to see a modern iteration of legendary LC80 series from Toyota.

Isn't there a media embargo on all driving/testing videos of the GX 550 until February?
Or is this recycled footage from Lexus? If not, this seems like an easy way to never be invited again to future events.

Good question. There is an embargo on driving impressions (opinions/reviews) until 2/1 but this was footage filmed at a dealer training event 3 months ago where filming was allowed/encouraged as long as there were no impressions disclosed prior to embargo.
