You guys, he is simply saying that if you truly truly believe with your entire heart in Jesus, then your life and actions will show your love for Jesus. If in your heart you believe in what Jesus has done for you, you will WANT to follow what the Bible says and will want to please the Lord by your actions. 🙌

If the requirement for heaven is anything but faith in the blood of Jesus, I'm screwed. I have nothing to offer, I'm the new chief among sinners. God said He commended His love unto me in that while I was yet a sinner Jesus died for me. The good that I would do, I do not and the evil that I would not do, those things I do. Praise the Lord, Jesus WILL deliver me from this body of death. I don't want to sin, I love Him, but I'm a sinner and it looks like I will be until I see Him and receive my glorified body. He said, that some would say to Him didn't we DO these great works in your name? That won't be me. I'll plead the blood of my Savior Jesus, God become flesh to sacrifice Himself in my place. Jesus took my punishment, He has removed my sin from me as far as the east is from the west and that wasn't enough for Him, then He clothed me in His righteousness. He said the work of God was to believe on the one He sent, Jesus. I understand what you're saying but How many works are enough? You've done many wonderful things for the Lord, I'll never catch you. Are there others who are as far ahead of you as you are ahead of me? I suspect so. Who's done enough? Only Jesus has done enough, and as He said, He clothes me in His righteousness because I've put my faith in Him. I trust Him, not me, I'm hot garbage.

I may unfortunately even be more of a chief in sinners than you brother, but I am right there with what you professed. I am going to do everything I can do for Jesus because I love him, I will try to learn everything he wants me know and I will try my best. But I will not rely on myself for salvation. I will rely on what Jesus Christ’s has already done with hisprecious blood and the promise he made to us who believe him.

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” You didn’t die physically when you were born again. Your flesh didn’t cease to tempt you. How can you prove you were saved? How much sin would it take for your life to “mirror” an unsaved life? Is there some type of meter that fills up the more sin we have? Does God just turn a blind eye to a few little sins here and there? Is it just the *big* sins we have to worry about? Does he not chasten and scourge us for our sins as Hebrews 12:6 says? Brother or Sister, does 1st John not outright tell us that we all have sin? It tells us we’re sinning if we say otherwise. Likewise, it tells us that we have an advocate with the father through our Lord Jesus Christ. If it were not possible for a Christian to sin or backslide, that book wouldn’t exist. We should live for Christ just as 2nd Corinthians 5:15 and 1st John 2:6 say; but let’s also not pretend that John didn’t speak of a sin unto death for a believer who has continued sinning (1st John 5:16). He didn’t say he would lose his salvation or that he never had it.
I love my Lord. I talk to Him all day. In every circumstance I go to Him. I cannot tolerate the things of this world. I have no interest in materialistic things. This world is not my home, I'm just passing through!!! He is the first thing on my mind in the morning and the last thing on my heart and mind before I go to sleep. I have been a believer for 40 yrs...and when in the states I learned about the rapture, and studied the scriptures for 4.5 years, trying to find out about the rapture. I never found the scriptures declaring a rapture, but I did educate myself on what God's word says about the coming of Yeshua, and yes He does come, at the last trump, and there is only 1 last trump. I have been convinced by the Holy Spirit, that HE walks with us thru it all...HE knows the difference, from the time we are conceived. He wrote the book on our lives...each of us , and every day of our life is written in the book. I committed all my children into the Lord, right from birth, and did my level best to raise them as believers in God and Yeshua. Not a 1 of them will go to church, not really, maybe once in awhile. BUT, they all believe in God, and Yeshua, howbeit , reluctantly. I have come to realize that I must give it my best, but, they, our kids, have to serve God, and believe out if the conviction of their hearts, not because mom and dad said so. Unfortunately, we as believers think our kids are supposed to grow up and be Christians and live happily ever after, with no temptations, trials, and tribulations. How about we as believers get it!!!. That our children are the targets of the darkness, the goal is to put out their light, and if he, Satan has to use the preacher and his son to destroy the light in your children, then that's what he'll do. WE ARE ALL TARGETS FOR THE DEVILS OF THIS WORLD, AND THEY USE PEOPLE TO DO THEIR BIDDING, UNBEKNOWNST TO THEM, that is the people. That is why believers are supposed to pray, and meditate, and seek God, for the young, no matter how successful they seem to be. You have no idea what's going on at home. Maybe daddy goes to church on Sunday, then goes home a beats the hell out mommy, then brags about what a fine upstanding Christian he is. Unfortunately, that type of hypocritical behavior has driven many a child away from God and into alterior spiritual paths. They have a longing For God, but are looking for an alternative, because the wicked one has caused somebody to stumble,band cause harm to others. Whether it be spiritual, mental or physical, harm is harm, and the love of God, and His word are what's required to heal the soul. God is the author and finisher of our faith, and just because people fall don't mean they can't get u. Not all, but many do. Don't be harsh and chase people away from God. Understand, God is raising that soul, and ministering to it. Whether to we approve or not. God bless you all... May God's law be mercy and patience be more than any of us can imagine.but, we are judged by our words and actions.

You stated it correctly when you stated that it is not about us. That's a good point. That means it's not about what we think. It is not about our perception of faith in Christ. We do not get to make Faith how we want it to be. The Messiah told us that love of the world is not good. He told us that if the love of the world and the lust of the eyes and the love of the life is in us, the love of the father is not. That means you have to come out of the world and to get your house in order. That means you can't just do things the way you want to. It's not about just casting your faith into something and living like the world. This is not the law of attraction. If you are a follower of the Messiah and a believer in our Lord, it will look like it, by default. No one will have to wonder if you are the worldly or not.

You are exchanging your lost state for his redemptive work on the cross at Calvary. What a great God we have! Once this transaction is complete it can never be undone.
We are saved by grace through faith. No works needed. That ended with the death of Christ. Paul is our apostle for the church age. Our works however will be judged at the judgment seat of Christ. But once we are saved the Bible says we are sealed and there is nothing or nobody that can change that.

Finally someone who knows what they're talking about this is a very good video I have been preaching this for over a year nobody can accept this truth, all they want to do is say is believe but they don't want to change they still want to stay in bondage to sin they don't want to take up their cross and walk with Jesus everyday and righteousness, they just want to stay in bondage to sin and still be saved!!! Work not the works of the law. James chapter 2, says we do works if faith. (Hebrews 13, verse 21) It is Christ who works in us. Jesua said, go and sin no more. Work not sinful works.

I have to disagree with this. When James was speaking to a crowd and said “faith without works is dead”, he meant serving faith not saving faith. He was referring to the people in the crowd as “beloved” and “brethren” indicating that he was speaking to a crowd of believers in the gospel. Therefore these people were already saved. What James was talking about was good works makes you progress in your sanctification not your justistification.
Romans 10:9-10 (KJV) 9 that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

This is the best I have heard from your ministry. Truth is not always acceptable to some ,but to those who seek the truth it is a blessing to feel and know what you did say is the truth. The rock. My foundation and I hope a lot more will come to him with staying power. Signs are apparent. I never gave a lot of thought to the Bible for decades. When I started reading, at some point I asked God to help me understand his word. Man can , ministers of God can and do leave out the whole truth too often. God hasn't let me down. The Lord is the Author and Finisher of my faith. Thanks be to God. I could never do it on my own. For if we are faithless, He remains faithful. If someone shacking up is lost after being saved, where would that have left David. Peter denied Him. Jesus came to seek and save the lost. While we must pick up our cross daily, denying the flesh, and striving to be Holy, we also cannot take credit. We will never be good enough, He paid it on the cross.

Sounds like you’re counting on what YOU DO to ultimately save you. The ONLY thing that makes you right with God is being in Christ~~which is by God’s grace through faith alone in what Christ accomplished at the cross.

I see this happen quite often unfortunately. Guys who were once very Spirit led and have great wisdom get comfortable in their ministry for many years, then end up feeling like they are something special and have accomplished so much that they start looking down on others like those other people can't be saved...look at them. They don't do as much as i do. They don't follow the rules. they keep making all those mistakes. Surely they wont get the same salvation as me. Look at all I have done. As soon as that happens they are no longer in The Lord's will and their ministry becomes a ministry about works rather than grace. Might as well be a mormon now.
Exactly how I feel when I watched this. I would’ve loved to ask him what about the dying man or an addict. How would you preach eternal life through Christ? Must they put the pipe down right away before they overdose and go to hell or can we give them the gospel and they simply believe in the savior and that there’s a way out of this sin ridden world? Our works are filthy rags. When we believe in Jesus we are baptized in the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit will lead you into truth. The Holy Spirit will tug at your heart. We are still in this sin full body and we will make mistakes. Don’t beat your self up. Keep focus on Jesus and rest in his work on the cross.

Nobody ever speaks about the initial faith in Jesus is what saves someone, but once they are saved through faith, then what keeps them there are their works. It makes perfect sense. The fruit is what keeps you saved under the blood. Nobody can get hired and keep their job by sitting down on the job.
Then I am lost because I have begged the Lord to save me and yet I am far from perfect. I have improved over time but I still sin. I ask for forgiveness and try to move forward but apparently I just am not saved as I don’t have these “Good works”. Sometimes I even struggle with my belief and doubt my salvation but apparently my doubt is real and I’m lost and have no idea how to be saved.
I made a comment earlier that people who are weak in their faith could be destroyed by his preaching. Go worship God in spirit and in truth as Jesus commands. Salvation comes from Christ alone and his atonement. Don’t be confused just read the Bible, pray and obey his words. God knows your heart. That’s all that matters. Jesus said on the cross “ it is finished “. He did the salvation work. Just love Jesus and he will give you the work he wants you to do.

Please don’t let anyone cause you to doubt your salvation. We don’t look at ourselves and the condition of our lives for assurance. We look only to the shed blood of Christ! Philippians 3:9. And be found in Him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith.
Do you believe that Jesus Christ is God? Have you ever believed that? Do you believe He died for you? On a cross? Raised again 3 days after - and all of this according to the scripture? If you have believed these things at any time, rest assured, sinner as you are, which am I also - that you are WELL SAVED! Go to your Lord, and see that instead of scoffing at you - He will embrace you, put a robe on you, a ring on your finger, sandals on your feet and declare openly that "My son was once lost, and is now found, He was dead and is now Alive!" and will with exceeding joy, bring you into His loving embrace. I have had doubts, I have sinned, because I am HUMAN. I have the sins of my ancestors coursing through my veins just as you do. Do not seek self perfection - seek HIS perfection: because He died for you just the way you are.
We strive to be without sin, and yet, if we were ever to arrive at our destination, John said we would be deceiving ourselves. Why are we reaching for something that cannot attain? This message truly is more about confliction than conviction. Death is separation from God. Sin is what you do apart from God, good or bad Life is union with God. Righteousness is what you do with God - all good. Good works are the job of the Holy Spirit in you. When you pray, thy will be done, you are asking him to do his will in you. Your job is to yield your members to God as instruments of righteousness. This takes faith. Meditate on John 15:9-12. Sins are remembered no more under the New Covenant. They are there and always will be. Just realize that when others offend you as you in the same way you offended God, you will need to forgive them to keep the mercy granted you-parable of the unforgiving servant. You keep sinning, you reap what you sow. Reach for righteousness, don't waste your time sweeping the house.
Have peace brother by confidence in our Lord Jesus Christ. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone. Acts 10:36 This is the message of the good news for the people of Israel- there is peace with God through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all. Act 10:43 Everyone who believes in him will have their sins forgiven through his name. Read the Bible and learn God’s word. There are numerous verses like 1Corinthians 6:11 that state we are sanctified and justified by Jesus and the Holy Spirit. And avoid anyone like Mikey here who leaves that verse out but only reads 6:9-6:10 it causes you to doubt God’s Mercy & Love and what his son Jesus Christ did for us all on the cross. Saint Paul also warns people like Mikey here in Romans 14 to accept other believers who are weak in faith, Who are you to condemn someone else’s servants? Their own master will judge if they stand or fall, and with the Lords help they will stand and receive his approval.

Seems like he’s sowing more seeds of doubt than faith. Lots of scripture to study in this passage but I think some folks weak in faith will be destroyed by his words.

I have to remind myself every day now ; "by grace through faith". This is so hard to know if I'm truly saved, I want to be, I want to go to heaven, I want my relationship with God to be REAL and I second guess it at every turn because I still do so many things I shouldnt.
Don't let guys like this preacher get you down. The fact that you are concerned means you DO believe Jesus is God, if you didn't then you wouldn't be worried. All that is needed for salvation is faith in Jesus. as per Acts 16:29-34 Romans 7:14-25 sees Paul talking about not doing what he should and not measuring up to the law. The fact of the matter is Jesus didn't come to remove the law, rather he raised the standard of the law, and in so doing provided the means to overcome the law, that is, belief in him so that his perfection is weighed for you rather than your imperfection. Don't let this world and the old sin nature get you down, struggle is expected, Jesus redeems.
I believe that so many denominations have all missed the point. Faith without the works to reflect it, and works that don't reflect any faith, are dead both ways. Thank you for your discernment and commitment to Gods word.
This is a very touchy subject because i believe you must strive or work to be like Christ so its continual till you die .I think the people that dont believe this pastor do have faith with works they dont know it thow .We know the spirit is allways fighting with flesh God knows our heart

I can say with truth that I did walk away from from all things Holy and choose to live a life of disobedience for years. The best thing I ever did was Get on my knees and ask for Christ’s forgiveness.
There's something wrong here. I keep in mind I should NEVER ever speak on behalf of the Holy Spirit - for He is sovereign.. But I have a strong feeling that somethings not right with this teaching. I don't judge you, I do not think I could do better, I do not think you are in apostacy or any such thing.. This sermon overthrows justification as has been since Pentecost, imputed righteousness and the fact that our flesh was crucified with Christ at the cross. He’s telling people to look at themselves instead of Christ’s shed blood for assurance of salvation. Galatian error. Romans 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted as righteousness. Philippians 3:9 And be found in Him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which IS OF GOD BY FAITH.
Yeah, I loved Michael Pearl for a long time bur since I have seen that he believes one can forfeit his or her salvation I have sorta stopped and this teaching definitely is a problem. He is focusing on the fact the people can't go to heaven instead of preaching on the true Gospel; The blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection!
In scripture or by a message I hear in a sermon. I've received beautiful soft messages in my spirit just by noticing a cloud formation that looks like the cross. He is my all in all and I can't wait to behold His face. He's the first one I want to see when I go to heaven if I pass away before the Rapture. Oh how I love Jesus because He first loved me.
I do not think Michael is trying to get anyone to doubt their salvation. Listen to his sermon on God dealing with sinning Christians. That sermon will put to rest any belief that he preaches works salvation... We all need to take an honest look at our walk with the Lord from time to time. It may just humble us and have us going toward the Lord to work on the things we believe he would not be pleased with or we will get a reminder to praise our God for his sustaining power and his work in our lives in sanctifying us. I have read that verse many times and one day as I was reading it again, I understood it in a whole different way. I saw the 2 men as the same person and the Holy Spirit of that man raised up while the “old man” or fleshly sinner left behind. I don’t know why it was revealed that way but it was and I now see it in a whole new light. For me it was the “born again” person being raised up and the old sinner left behind. I understand the common interpretation of this verse as stated by this Pastor and I’m not saying he is wrong at all. This is just a way that I came to see it as well.

Romans 6:23, as it is rendered in the English and as it is understood in the English, contradicts the entire previous 22 verses of the chapter. The second have of verse 23 is a synopsis of verse 22. The "free gift" is charisma, a result of the Spirit working in you. It is unfortunate that this verse is so universally misunderstood. There are only two essentials in my book: the word of God is inspired, and if my interpretation of the word of God is inspired, all conflicts are resolved. The general understanding of Romans 6:23 does not pass the second essential.
Pastor Mike, I believe in “dispensations” when I read scripture. Paul to the Gentiles. We are saved by grace through faith ,not of ourselves it’s a gift from God ,not of works, lest no man shall boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 so we are his workmanship created unto good works. So a saved person gets to work for Jesus out of love for what he did for us, but not for our salvation. I am sure you agree. Romans 4:4-5 him that worketh is a reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not, but believe on him that justified the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness James 2:24 that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. This sounds like a contradiction, but it is not if you divide the word. Romans 3:30 KJV seeing it is one God to Jew and Gentiles , which shall justified the circumcision ( Jews) by faith and the uncircumcised ( Gentiles) through faith. James 1:1 is writing to the twelve tribes of Israel = Jews by faith they must show their faith by their works. Example : Rehab the harlot helped the Jewish spies, Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt, Abraham set forth to sacrifice Isaac. Faith plus works gospel. Paul is writing to the Gentiles grace through faith, we are saved, not by works. Like the thief on the cross, redeemed by the blood of Jesus. Jesus is coming back to the Jews for salvation in the Tribulation timeline, this timeline I believe will be a Faith plus works gospel for salvation. Flee to the Mountains from Judaea, do not take the mark of the beast, help each other. Endure till the end Ect.. Revelation 5 the church is in heaven before the throne of God “ they were redeemed by the blood of Jesus. Grace through faith. Revelation 7 they came out of the great tribulation “ and washed their robes in the blood of Jesus “ faith plus works gospel. Tribulation saints. I believe the whole Bible is to us, but not all of it is for us. I am not saying you preached on a works gospel, but I feel you were tying James 2:24 to the church age of grace. You are a great preacher and I have been watching you for years and you have taught me so much. But I feel if the gospel contradicts Paul’s ’ writings in scripture it’s not for us today, rightly dividing the word of truth 2timothy 2:15 your thoughts on this. I think I understand your question...seems a perceived contradiction 2 Tim 2:15, but when read in context, 2 Tim 2: 14-26 is admonishing a young pastor to properly know his word of truth so that he can lead a group of believers. This approved workman is not about salvation, but a hint toward that greater accountability held for teachers of God's Word and a penalty to the false teachers that lead other to stumble astray.

Our lives and actions won’t always reflect who we are in Christ. We all stumble in many ways. Being a Christian doesn’t mean you’ll never sin again, but it does mean you’ll never be ok with sin again. When we fall into the old patterns of our old selves, it won’t feel right to us and we’ll remember that we are God’s beloved children, Holy, and created unto good works. Then in faith, we’ll start behaving as such again, not perfectly, but increasingly.
Great message, but not quite the pure gospel. We aren’t called to love God with all our hearts, soul and mind before God saves us… that’s tiring, laborious and discouraging. A sinner dead in sin has no strength to Love God with! Righteousness is so simple we miss it. It’s simply by believing on Jesus! He IS the Love of God! God puts Christ- His own Love into our hearts ♥️. Not us proving we Love Him first. There’s no labor or work to believe to receive.
This is absolutely terrifying. Because I know what Jesus did for me and I do love him but sometimes it's hard for me to pick up my Bible and sometimes it's hard for me to know what to pray but if most Christians will go to hell that's really terrifying for me. You are eternally saved the moment you believe the gospel of the grace of god and trust in the finished work of the cross and his death burial and resurrection.
Good one Mike. Difficult at first, but there has to be some harmony between our faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus, and the works that getting born again will cause. You will begin to be different from others, because friendship with God is enmity with the 🌎. When Pinocchio came back into fellowship with HIS father, he left the fellowship with the other bad people that enticed him to go to Pleasure island and turned him into an ass. There is a lot more verses like these in Hebrews, too.

God said He commended His love unto me in that while I was yet a sinner Jesus died for me. The good that I would do, I do not and the evil that I would not do, those things I do. Praise the Lord, Jesus WILL deliver me from this body of death. I don't want to sin, I love Him, but I'm a sinner and it looks like I will be until I see Him and receive my glorified body. How much sin would it take for your life to “mirror” an unsaved life? Is there some type of meter that fills up the more sin we have? Does God just turn a blind eye to a few little sins here and there? Is it just the *big* sins we have to worry about? Does he not chasten and scourge us for our sins as Hebrews 12:6 says?
Brother or Sister, does 1st John not outright tell us that we all have sin? It tells us we’re sinning if we say otherwise. Likewise, it tells us that we have an advocate with the father through our Lord Jesus Christ. If it were not possible for a Christian to sin or backslide, that book wouldn’t exist.
We should live for Christ just as 2nd Corinthians 5:15 and 1st John 2:6 say; but let’s also not pretend that John didn’t speak of a sin unto death for a believer who has continued sinning (1st John 5:16). He didn’t say he would lose his salvation or that he never had it.
I love my Lord. I talk to Him all day. In every circumstance I go to Him. I cannot tolerate the things of this world. I have no interest in materialistic things. This world is not my home, I'm just passing through!!! He is the first thing on my mind in the morning and the last thing on my heart and mind before I go to sleep. I have been a believer for 40 yrs...and when in the states I learned about the rapture, and studied the scriptures for 4.5 years, trying to find out about the rapture. I never found the scriptures declaring a rapture, but I did educate myself on what God's word says about the coming of Yeshua, and yes He does come, at the last trump, and there is only 1 last trump. I have been convinced by the Holy Spirit, that HE walks with us thru it all...HE knows the difference, from the time we are conceived. He wrote the book on our lives...each of us , and every day of our life is written in the book.
I committed all my children into the Lord, right from birth, and did my level best to raise them as believers in God and Yeshua.
Not a 1 of them will go to church, not really, maybe once in awhile. BUT, they all believe in God, and Yeshua, howbeit , reluctantly.
I have come to realize that I must give it my best, but, they, our kids, have to serve God, and believe out if the conviction of their hearts, not because mom and dad said so.
Unfortunately, we as believers think our kids are supposed to grow up and be Christians and live happily ever after, with no temptations, trials, and tribulations. How about we as believers get it!!!. That our children are the targets of the darkness, the goal is to put out their light, and if he, Satan has to use the preacher and his son to destroy the light in your children, then that's what he'll do. WE ARE ALL TARGETS FOR THE DEVILS OF THIS WORLD, AND THEY USE PEOPLE TO DO THEIR BIDDING, UNBEKNOWNST TO THEM, that is the people. That is why believers are supposed to pray, and meditate, and seek God, for the young, no matter how successful they seem to be. You have no idea what's going on at home. Maybe daddy goes to church on Sunday, then goes home a beats the hell out mommy, then brags about what a fine upstanding Christian he is. Unfortunately, that type of hypocritical behavior has driven many a child away from God and into alterior spiritual paths. They have a longing For God, but are looking for an alternative, because the wicked one has caused somebody to stumble,band cause harm to others. Whether it be spiritual, mental or physical, harm is harm, and the love of God, and His word are what's required to heal the soul. God is the author and finisher of our faith, and just because people fall don't mean they can't get u. Not all, but many do.
Don't be harsh and chase people away from God. Understand, God is raising that soul, and ministering to it. Whether to we approve or not. God bless you all... May God's law be mercy and patience be more than any of us can imagine.but, we are judged by our words and actions.

You stated it correctly when you stated that it is not about us. That's a good point. That means it's not about what we think. It is not about our perception of faith in Christ. We do not get to make Faith how we want it to be.
The Messiah told us that love of the world is not good. He told us that if the love of the world and the lust of the eyes and the love of the life is in us, the love of the father is not. That means you have to come out of the world and to get your house in order. That means you can't just do things the way you want to. It's not about just casting your faith into something and living like the world.
This is not the law of attraction.
If you are a follower of the Messiah and a believer in our Lord, it will look like it, by default. No one will have to wonder if you are the worldly or not.

We are saved by grace through faith. No works needed. That ended with the death of Christ. Paul is our apostle for the church age. Our works however will be judged at the judgment seat of Christ. But once we are saved the Bible says we are sealed and there is nothing or nobody that can change that.

I have to disagree with this. When James was speaking to a crowd and said “faith without works is dead”, he meant serving faith not saving faith. He was referring to the people in the crowd as “beloved” and “brethren” indicating that he was speaking to a crowd of believers in the gospel. Therefore these people were already saved. What James was talking about was good works makes you progress in your sanctification not your justistification.
James is written to the 12 tribes of Israel. You need to watch 8 kingdoms and mikes video on repentance.

This is the best I have heard from your ministry. Truth is not always acceptable to some ,but to those who seek the truth it is a blessing to feel and know what you did say is the truth. The rock. My foundation and I hope a lot more will come to him with staying power. Signs are apparent. I never gave a lot of thought to the Bible for decades. When I started reading, at some point I asked God to help me understand his word. Man can , ministers of God can and do leave out the whole truth too often. God hasn't let me down. The Lord is the Author and Finisher of my faith. Thanks be to God. I could never do it on my own. For if we are faithless, He remains faithful. If someone shacking up is lost after being saved, where would that have left David. Peter denied Him. Jesus came to seek and save the lost. While we must pick up our cross daily, denying the flesh, and striving to be Holy, we also cannot take credit. We will never be good enough, He paid it on the cross.

Sounds like you’re counting on what YOU DO to ultimately save you. The ONLY thing that makes you right with God is being in Christ~~which is by God’s grace through faith alone in what Christ accomplished at the cross.

I see this happen quite often unfortunately. Guys who were once very Spirit led and have great wisdom get comfortable in their ministry for many years, then end up feeling like they are something special and have accomplished so much that they start looking down on others like those other people can't be saved...look at them. They don't do as much as i do. They don't follow the rules. they keep making all those mistakes. Surely they wont get the same salvation as me. Look at all I have done.
As soon as that happens they are no longer in The Lord's will and their ministry becomes a ministry about works rather than grace. Might as well be a mormon now.
Exactly how I feel when I watched this. I would’ve loved to ask him what about the dying man or an addict. How would you preach eternal life through Christ? Must they put the pipe down right away before they overdose and go to hell or can we give them the gospel and they simply believe in the savior and that there’s a way out of this sin ridden world? Hmmm..

Our works are filthy rags. When we believe in Jesus we are baptized in the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit will lead you into truth. The Holy Spirit will tug at your heart. We are still in this sin full body and we will make mistakes. Don’t beat your self up. Keep focus on Jesus and rest in his work on the cross.

Nobody ever speaks about the initial faith in Jesus is what saves someone, but once they are saved through faith, then what keeps them there are their works. It makes perfect sense. The fruit is what keeps you saved under the blood. Nobody can get hired and keep their job by sitting down on the job.
Then I am lost because I have begged the Lord to save me and yet I am far from perfect. I have improved over time but I still sin. I ask for forgiveness and try to move forward but apparently I just am not saved as I don’t have these “Good works”. Sometimes I even struggle with my belief and doubt my salvation but apparently my doubt is real and I’m lost and have no idea how to be saved.
I made a comment earlier that people who are weak in their faith could be destroyed by his preaching. Go worship God in spirit and in truth as Jesus commands. Salvation comes from Christ alone and his atonement. Don’t be confused just read the Bible, pray and obey his words. God knows your heart. That’s all that matters. Jesus said on the cross “ it is finished “. He did the salvation work. Just love Jesus and he will give you the work he wants you to do.
Mr. McGuck, Do you believe the gospel of Christ; WHO He is according to the scriptures and that He died for the forgiveness of your sins on the cross, was buried and resurrected? Do you believe that Jesus Christ is God? Have you ever believed that? Do you believe He died for you? On a cross? Raised again 3 days after - and all of this according to the scripture?

Go to your Lord, and see that instead of scoffing at you - He will embrace you, put a robe on you, a ring on your finger, sandals on your feet and declare openly that "My son was once lost, and is now found, He was dead and is now Alive!" and will with exceeding joy, bring you into His loving embrace.

This message truly is more about confliction than conviction.
Death is separation from God. Sin is what you do apart from God, good or bad
Life is union with God. Righteousness is what you do with God - all good.
Good works are the job of the Holy Spirit in you. When you pray, thy will be done, you are asking him to do his will in you. Your job is to yield your members to God as instruments of righteousness. This takes faith. Meditate on John 15:9-12.
Sins are remembered no more under the New Covenant. They are there and always will be. Just realize that when others offend you as you in the same way you offended God, you will need to forgive them to keep the mercy granted you-parable of the unforgiving servant. You keep sinning, you reap what you sow.
Reach for righteousness, don't waste your time sweeping the house.
Have peace brother by confidence in our Lord Jesus Christ. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone. Acts 10:36 This is the message of the good news for the people of Israel- there is peace with God through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all. Act 10:43 Everyone who believes in him will have their sins forgiven through his name.
Read the Bible and learn God’s word. There are numerous verses like 1Corinthians 6:11 that state we are sanctified and justified by Jesus and the Holy Spirit. And avoid anyone like Mikey here who leaves that verse out but only reads 6:9-6:10 it causes you to doubt God’s Mercy & Love and what his son Jesus Christ did for us all on the cross.
Saint Paul also warns people like Mikey here in Romans 14 to accept other believers who are weak in faith, Who are you to condemn someone else’s servants? Their own master will judge if they stand or fall, and with the Lords help they will stand and receive his approval.
God bless this man and his message of truth for the Lord God will not be mocked but rather praised.

Don't let guys like this preacher get you down. The fact that you are concerned means you DO believe Jesus is God, if you didn't then you wouldn't be worried. All that is needed for salvation is faith in Jesus. as per Acts 16:29-34
Romans 7:14-25 sees Paul talking about not doing what he should and not measuring up to the law. The fact of the matter is Jesus didn't come to remove the law, rather he raised the standard of the law, and in so doing provided the means to overcome the law, that is, belief in him so that his perfection is weighed for you rather than your imperfection.
Don't let this world and the old sin nature get you down, struggle is expected, Jesus redeems.
A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.
I believe that so many denominations have all missed the point. Faith without the works to reflect it, and works that don't reflect any faith, are dead both ways. Thank you for your discernment and commitment to Gods word.

This sermon overthrows justification as has been since Pentecost, imputed righteousness and the fact that our flesh was crucified with Christ at the cross. He’s telling people to look at themselves instead of Christ’s shed blood for assurance of salvation. Galatian error.

Yeah, I loved Michael Pearl for a long time bur since I have seen that he believes one can forfeit his or her salvation I have sorta stopped and this teaching definitely is a problem. He is focusing on the fact the people can't go to heaven instead of preaching on the true Gospel; The blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection!
In scripture or by a message I hear in a sermon. I've received beautiful soft messages in my spirit just by noticing a cloud formation that looks like the cross. He is my all in all and I can't wait to behold His face. He's the first one I want to see when I go to heaven if I pass away before the Rapture. Oh how I love Jesus because He first loved me.
I do not think Michael is trying to get anyone to doubt their salvation. Listen to his sermon on God dealing with sinning Christians. That sermon will put to rest any belief that he preaches works salvation... We all need to take an honest look at our walk with the Lord from time to time. It may just humble us and have us going toward the Lord to work on the things we believe he would not be pleased with or we will get a reminder to praise our God for his sustaining power and his work in our lives in sanctifying us. Either way, we are blessed. Glory to God!

I have read that verse many times and one day as I was reading it again, I understood it in a whole different way. I saw the 2 men as the same person and the Holy Spirit of that man raised up while the “old man” or fleshly sinner left behind. I don’t know why it was revealed that way but it was and I now see it in a whole new light. For me it was the “born again” person being raised up and the old sinner left behind. I understand the common interpretation of this verse as stated by this Pastor and I’m not saying he is wrong at all. This is just a way that I came to see it as well.

We are holy and acceptable not in ourselves but because of Yeshua work his blood we do not earn or maintain salvation it is a free gift.
Romans 6:23, as it is rendered in the English and as it is understood in the English, contradicts the entire previous 22 verses of the chapter. The second have of verse 23 is a synopsis of verse 22. The "free gift" is charisma, a result of the Spirit working in you.
It is unfortunate that this verse is so universally misunderstood.
There are only two essentials in my book: the word of God is inspired, and if my interpretation of the word of God is inspired, all conflicts are resolved. The general understanding of Romans 6:23 does not pass the second essential.

Pastor Mike, I believe in “dispensations” when I read scripture. Paul to the Gentiles.
We are saved by grace through faith ,not of ourselves it’s a gift from God ,not of works, lest no man shall boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 so we are his workmanship created unto good works. So a saved person gets to work for Jesus out of love for what he did for us, but not for our salvation. I am sure you agree.
Romans 4:4-5 him that worketh is a reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.
But to him that worketh not, but believe on him that justified the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness
James 2:24 that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. This sounds like a contradiction, but it is not if you divide the word.
Romans 3:30 KJV seeing it is one God to Jew and Gentiles , which shall justified the circumcision ( Jews) by faith and the uncircumcised ( Gentiles) through faith.
James 1:1 is writing to the twelve tribes of Israel = Jews by faith they must show their faith by their works. Example : Rehab the harlot helped the Jewish spies, Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt, Abraham set forth to sacrifice Isaac. Faith plus works gospel.
Paul is writing to the Gentiles grace through faith, we are saved, not by works. Like the thief on the cross, redeemed by the blood of Jesus.
Jesus is coming back to the Jews for salvation in the Tribulation timeline, this timeline I believe will be a Faith plus works gospel for salvation. Flee to the Mountains from Judaea, do not take the mark of the beast, help each other. Endure till the end Ect..
Revelation 5 the church is in heaven before the throne of God “ they were redeemed by the blood of Jesus. Grace through faith.
Revelation 7 they came out of the great tribulation “ and washed their robes in the blood of Jesus “ faith plus works gospel. Tribulation saints.
I believe the whole Bible is to us, but not all of it is for us.
I am not saying you preached on a works gospel, but I feel you were tying James 2:24 to the church age of grace.
You are a great preacher and I have been watching you for years and you have taught me so much. But I feel if the gospel contradicts Paul’s ’ writings in scripture it’s not for us today, rightly dividing the word of truth 2timothy 2:15 your thoughts on this.

I was taken aback, I always thought Mike understood and taught dispensionalism... I hope Mike meant someone who think he's saved but never was.
I think I understand your question...seems a perceived contradiction 2 Tim 2:15, but when read in context, 2 Tim 2: 14-26 is admonishing a young pastor to properly know his word of truth so that he can lead a group of believers. This approved workman is not about salvation, but a hint toward that greater accountability held for teachers of God's Word and a penalty to the false teachers that lead other to stumble astray.

Our lives and actions won’t always reflect who we are in Christ. We all stumble in many ways. Being a Christian doesn’t mean you’ll never sin again, but it does mean you’ll never be ok with sin again.
When we fall into the old patterns of our old selves, it won’t feel right to us and we’ll remember that we are God’s beloved children, Holy, and created unto good works. Then in faith, we’ll start behaving as such again, not perfectly, but increasingly.
Great message, but not quite the pure gospel. We aren’t called to love God with all our hearts, soul and mind before God saves us… that’s tiring, laborious and discouraging. A sinner dead in sin has no strength to Love God with!
Righteousness is so simple we miss it. It’s simply by believing on Jesus! He IS the Love of God! God puts Christ- His own Love into our hearts ♥️. Not us proving we Love Him first.
There’s no labor or work to believe to receive.
This is absolutely terrifying. Because I know what Jesus did for me and I do love him but sometimes it's hard for me to pick up my Bible and sometimes it's hard for me to know what to pray but if most Christians will go to hell that's really terrifying for me. God Has Changed me a lot and changed my life a lot but there are still some things that I struggle with that is terrifying to me How do we know 100% that we are born again

Please be aware, a person must TRUST in their Heart ONLY on the following for salvation and leaving in the Rapture:
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 (KJV) - "Christ (God the Son who came as God in flesh) died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures…"
Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV) - “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God; Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Faith ALONE Only on Jesus’ death, burial, resurrection ALONE, is required. GRACE means UNMERITED FREE GIFT. NO human effort or works can be involved in receiving or keeping salvation. Believing the New Testament Gospel of Salvation, plus NOTHING, results in Salvation.)
All People Have Sinned and Cannot Earn Any Part of Salvation. Works ONLY show evidence of faith:
John 3:36 (KJV), “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the WRATH of God abideth on him.”
Romans 3:23 (KJV), “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God”
Romans 6:23 (KJV), “For the wages of sin is DEATH; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (‘Death’ means eternal spiritual death and hell).
The following shows the OT and New Testament (NT) both tell us works cannot save.
Romans 3:20 (KJV), “Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight:....”:

Yes - it is very important to understand that salvation is not an event but state of spirit.
It is not one step - it is life-long walk.
You are eternally saved the moment you believe the gospel of the grace of god and trust in the finished work of the cross and his death burial and resurrection.

Bible says if ye believe and confess with your mouth you shall be saved. Salvation is the gift of God not of works lest anyone boast.
Good one Mike. Difficult at first, but there has to be some harmony between our faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus, and the works that getting born again will cause. You will begin to be different from others, because friendship with God is enmity with the 🌎. When Pinocchio came back into fellowship with HIS father, he left the fellowship with the other bad people that enticed him to go to Pleasure island and turned him into an ass. There is a lot more verses like these in Hebrews, too.
