Frankly, my distinct impression is that Medvedev doesn't lie about these "out" calls. I think it was legitimately out, and obvious. The question then becomes what do you do about it, especially in a crucial match like this.
You accept it and move on.
You stop if you think the ball was out and challenge, ask umpire to check the call , not after point was played and lost

It's very clear to me that Medvedev is not comfortable to play on Clay courts... his movements are not good enough. On Hard courts he is way more effective.
He won Rome last year.
It's pretty obvious that it's his worst surface. However, I think he is improved a lot since a few years ago. He just needs to work on controlling his emotions.

I would like so much that these people who never played a tennis match in their lives can't comment on it. Why? Because you know absolutely nothing about this sport and how hard it is until you spend some time on the court. Tennis umpire is a job that a 5 years old can do and is one of the most ungrateful jobs out there. Can't wait for video replay in tennis.

Whilst marks are left on clay surfaces, how often do they go to the wrong mark. Or better yet, when its close the CLAY leaves a mark but on the LINES its not always left.

Actually, the dispute of Medvedev caused the misconception with the umpire. The chair umpire didn't understand what Medvedev implied with his this word.
He didn't have a request to invite the physio to the court concerning his treatment.
I hate to say this, but I think Meddy needs his psychologist back to look after him.

Это полное безобразие ошибки судей и понять Медведева можно. Почему судьи так уверено ошибаются, ведь есть в Монте Карло на кортах Hawk-Eye. Посади судью у компьютора и пусть кричит еррор, как это делают на других турнирах. Повтор был и аут был большой при счете 6:5, который осмотрел Даниил и схватился за голову. Такие моменты не делают чести ни турниру, ни судьям, обслуживающим эти матчи.

Anyone who has a wall game ( returners ) suffers in clay. Big hitters, drop shots and volley prevails in this surface. Poor Meddy, he really dislikes this season 😂

Clay is slower and bouncier court. More time to react to a counter attack. In hard courts counter returns are much more difficult.
Man needs to chill, that being said they really do need to bring in tech equipment to take care of line calling. Ref will be there to control the flow of game and the crowd, machines for line calls, simple!

Medvedev is right. There were two refereeing errors on two consecutive days. It can't happen in a tournament like Montecarlo! Here he was at 30 and his opponent was at 40 and by giving his opponent 6-5 they put him in a bad situation.

Medvedev - in his last 2 matches - faces wrong call multiple time lead. THis time it's too late to come back. Don't know why they aren't using hawkeye
Medvedev is a top player no doubt but when he loses on clay to a good player it's not a surprise. Clay is not his best surface. As great of a scrambler that Medvedev is he still needs the extra pace that he gets on other surfaces.
He's always going to have issues with clay.
If he doesn't get Ivanisevic to work on that serve that's getting worse and worse, he'll never be able to keep up with the youngsters.
